Do you think Kopa should be in TLK4 and why?
Notice at the end of TLK Simba's cubs ears have the brown rings inside them, Kiara's does not.
He left the pride because of Zira's plot to kill him and he eventually returns.
Exactly!
Even though I don't think they would make a 4th movie (unless all of us TLK fanaticss rise up and demand it), I think it should be about Mufasa, Sarabi, Scar, and Sarafina's cubhood. And maybe we could finally find out who Nala's father is, and how Scar got his scar, what his name was before he got his scar, how he met the hyenas, everything. I think this would be the most interesting idea.
That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. :)
^ That's just my opinion, though, I know some die-hard Kopa fans will probably wanna lynch me for that. :gotthehint:
I personally don't think including Kopa in TLK movies would be such a good idea.

He's part of TLK6NA universe which I've always considered different from SP or any Disney movie. If he appeared, that would mix so many things. Let him be in the books. That's where he belongs.

And I also believe that prequels would be much better. Or direct sequel to SP, which I personally don't believe will ever happen.
First, how can there be a Lion King 4 when there hasn't been an "official" Lion King 3. I know The Lion King 1½ is titled The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata, but the official title is still 1½. The official trailer explained why didn't it want to be called TLKIII.

Even though if Disney did want to a sequel to TLKII, it would be titled TLKIII in the United States, but TLK4 elsewhere in the world.

Okay, I just wanted to get that out of my system.

Now, to answer your question, there may never be a fourth Lion King movie because John Lasseter cancelled the production of Disney sequels with The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning at its last one in the lineup. And playing devil's advocate, if there is one, there's a possible chance it could be about Mufasa and Scar's cubhood.

Second, Kopa doesn't exist in TLK movie universe. The filmmakers on the LK audio commentary named the cub at the end "Fluffy", not Kopa. By the time the production of the second movie was underway, the filmmakers assumingly weren't aware of Kopa's existance, as story director Phil Weinstein claimed he didn't know of him during production as said in this archived interview. Also, it was confirmed ealier this year that they were going to name Simba's male cub, Chaka, before they wrote him out of the story. So, the only way Kopa could be in the film series is if he is Kiara's younger brother depending if Kiara still wants to be queen.
If a 4th Lion King movie were made, I think there are only two ways Kopa could be introduced.
#1. (I don't remember where online I read this Idea, but) Change Kopa from Simba's son to Simba's Grandson, that would enable Kopa to join the movie franchise and still keep his original personality.

#2. Change Kopa's back story so that he is from a different pride or just a rogue lion. This would also open the possibility of a Kopa/Vitani romance.

to those who still think Kopa excists in the movies, this is false. Do some research. the cub at the end of TLK nicknamed ''fluffy'' is not Kopa, but was later in the second movie given the identity of Kiara. The creators even confirmed this, so my point isn't debatable. To show even more backup to my point, in the trailer of Simba's pride they showed the ending of TLK1 to let the viewers know that it was Kiara all allong, and not Kopa. They only redesigned Kiara's birthday ceremony and as well the characters, that's why Kiara looks so diffrent as a cub at the end of the first TLK movie.

So in this case I really think Kopa should NOT appear in a 4rth TLK movie at all, since it would only create confusion and mess up the original plot. Kopa belongs only in the spinoff TLK books and fanfictions, not in the original plot since he never was an official character.

Or have Kopa be Kiara's younger brother. Kiara never took much interest in pursuing the throne when she was young, and it's unknown if she still harbors these same feelings. Playing devil's advocate, if she still doesn't want to be queen, then, Simba and Nala would have to mate again, and hopefully produce a male cub. Name it Kopa. WALA! He's in the movie universe.

If Kopa was in it, it would make a conflict of seeing who will take the throne, Kiara or the eldest, long lost son, Kopa? I think it would be interesting.

Please, don't take offense at this, as none is meant, but isn't that what fanfic is for? These interesting little things like this? I've seen numerous takes on Kopa's return, and while I barely even skim through most of them, they're there to answer that question, and if you don't like the answer they come up with, you can always come up with your own.

That is another good possibility. While I think Kiara becoming the next Queen (with Kovu of course as her King) is necessary to totally cement the union of The Pridelanders and the former Outsiders. It would be very interesting if Kopa being born caused Kiara to entertain thoughts of stepping away from the throne in favor of her younger brother. I also believe that Kovu would agree with Kiara if she were to make this decision, because I really think that the only reason Kovu is willing to become King, is because his mate is the Crown Princess of Pride Rock.

Although I'd doubt a 4th movie is ever made, I really like that idea. It would be a cool nod to the hardcore fans who know of TLK:6NA without blowing the continuity of the movie universe to smithereens.
