Anti gravity? So we can sort of disable gravity around us of something of that nature? Wolfishgirl, we know that. He means some kind of technology we were unaware of at the moment. Sounds interesting...

Obesity also is a problem in the modern world. That could kill off a few people too. I'm not looking foward to seeing our future, I hope we don't have WWIII.. I hope the world does end by the end of 2012. xD

yes it does sound interesting... and makes me angry. I was racing against Zagill to see who would be the first to defeat gravity and get rid of it. If it's already made then that ruins are plan...

I might end up being a threat to the world at some point... I have bad impulse control...

and that's another thing 2012... it's not gonna happen, but my reason for it is based off the bible and that is apparently banned here. And here is another reason it won't happen. The whole point of 2012 is based off of a Mayan calendar... Hmmm when Columbus first came he came with a bunch of conquistadors that destroyed almost all of the Mayan's writings because they were pagan beliefs. One of those writings that was destroyed could have been another calendar. and I can easily make a calendar saying that the world will end sometime and make vague predictions over what will happen based on what has happened in history. It's not that hard. Obesity is a problem,

Me either... I hope it doesn't. If it does, I'll never find out what happens in KHIII D:> and there really isn't any evidence that the world will end lol

The bible isn't banned. We're just not meant to discuss religion because it causes a lot of commotion here on MLK. I'm too tired to write a paragraph right now lol

I definately agree, wolfishgirl. 2012 apocalypse theory is nonsense. however.... I tend to believe that 2012 is some sort of distraction for something bad that is eventually going to happen in the near future. And when the horror strikes, it'll be on a completely unexpected moment whitout any warning.

Maybe on the day someone will bomb some place and blame the date. Or release a deadly virus into the third world countries. They will probably try something. Maybe something less obvious that the bombing.
Oh and careful with your language Nick. Kids are scampering about.

But, if we can develop interstellar travel, and expand throughout the universe, we'll be nearly unstoppable. Sometime, probably within the next 100 years, possibly within some of our lifetimes, will be the key point of humanity, where our future will be made certain. Will we all kill each other, or will we begin construction of a real-life starship similar to the Enterprise? Only time will tell.

And, before anyone says we can't do that, that's also what people said about cars, airplanes, lightbulbs, televisions, and the Apollo missions. We just need time to figure it out.
