Relief washed over Delano when he felt Muroki move closer to him. Even though it wasn't a full blown hug, Delano wrapped his paw around his brother tightly, once again feeling his confidence rise with the comfort that Muroki was able to give him. "So tomorrow you are going to get me out?" He asked, finally starting to understand what Muroki had been trying to tell him. "Tomorrow's the real deal?"

Muroki nodded, even though it was too dark for Delano to see it. "Yes, tomorrow we're going to end this nightmare." at least Delano was finally calming down for real now and not just going silent in search for words that might express his worry. "Then we'll be able to go back home and put this entire thing behind us, then you'll see Lina again as well."

Delano tensed again a little when Muroki said Lina's name, but he calmed down soon after. "I just wish that I was stronger," he whispered, "so that I wouldn't have to return to her, broken and like this..." He clung onto Muroki tighter as he looked around the darkness. "Why did this have to happen, anyways?" He blurted out suddenly, feeling angry. "If we're leaving tomorrow, why can't we go today? Why did I have to come here in the first place?"

Muroki felt slightly taken aback, not by Delano's tone, but by the question himself. Should he let his brother know that Moto was the one responsible, even if Moto didn't mean for Delano himself to get taken away and even if this was whole a big misunderstanding? He thought about it for a moment. His brother had the right to know, but then again Muroki did promise Moto that he wouldn't tell anyone. It seemed like the right thing would be to tell him, but maybe Moto should be the one to tell him.

Delano lay his head back on the ground, not even noticing how Muroki seemed uncertain after his outburst. "Just get me out of here," he muttered, his anger falling, "just get me out of here tomorrow. Please." He closed his eyes, wanting for that time at which he would be free to arrive immediately. "Get me out..." he repeated very quietly, just above a whisper.

Muroki was more than relieved when Delano didn't continue pushing the subject further with questions, because he didn't want to end up having to explain Delano the real reason to why he was stuck in that hell-like prison cave. "Tomorrow I will get you out of here. We will all get you out of here." he still had no idea as to what was going to happen during the trial or how was the trial going to happen, but right now he didn't care.

Delano was so relieved to hear Muroki's answer, that he finally felt calmer than ever before since the last time Muroki had visited him. And like last time, now that he was calmer, the sleep that Delano had been afraid of, and was avoiding for so long, caught up to him. Before he could stop and force himself to stay awake, he was out and fast asleep, still clinging onto Muroki without even realizing it.

Muroki continued to lying there silently, still trying to figure out how exactly was the trial going to run, what was going to happen, and how exactly they were supposed to defend his brother. After a short while he noticed that his brother was asleep, but he didn't mind that at all. He lay his head down as well to try and think things over, and after a while fell asleep as well without even noticing.

Delano walked back home, but not the den, but the old home, where he and Muroki lived with their parents. And there they were, waiting for him. "Hey mom, hey dad," he said in greeting. "Where's Muroki?" They gave him a curious look like he was out of his mind before saying that Muroki wouldn't come. "What?" Delano asked, shocked, "well, where is he then?"

Their parents just looked at him again. "He's not coming back," they repeated in perfect synchronous, "not after you killed him."

Delano walked backwards in fear. "What? No! I didn't do it! When did I...? I didn't kill him!" He begged. His parents just looked at him again, and he saw that their stare was dead and rather haunting. Turning around, Delano ran off, calling for help, only to promptly have something big slam into him, knocking him over. He got up, trying to see what it was, just in time to see a clawed paw swing hard at his face.

Delano woke up suddenly, crying out in fear, and switching to pain as he moved his broken leg. Then he realized that he was still in the cave, and that he simply had another nightmare. Slowly, his heartbeat and breathing slowed down to a more normal level.

He felt around in front of him and sure enough, there was Muroki, but his brother was not moving. Delano prodded his brother quickly, trying to get some sort of response out of Muroki. "Muroki! Come on, you have to get up!" He whimpered, pushing harder, "don't leave me... please, wake up!"

Muroki's sleep was a rather strange one. He did not dream, but he didn't wake up from that either. Suddenly he began feeling a little uneasy, and soon realized that someone was literally shaking him. He woke up almost with a start, becoming confused upon hearing his brother's voice and what his brother was saying. "What? I'm still here." he said,sounding a little annoyed as he wondered whether another nightmare was the result of Delano waking him up so harshly. "What is it?"
