Yes, the basics of calculus are easy. All you need to know is that a derivative is the slope, and an integral is the area under a curve. It does get more complicated than that, but it's unnecessary complication. The most difficult part of calculus isn't the calculus itself, but the algebra and trig.

No, seriously. Calculus is as easy as subtracting one from the exponent and multiplying the exponent by the coefficient. Most teachers just try to confuse people by making it look as much like Greek as possible.

True. The basics, when you nailed them, are rather easy. Right now I'm just struggling with the algebra and all that stuff. =P

For me, the Differential calculus class is Calculus 1 and the Integral calculus class is Calculus 2... and then that's it lol.
