[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Uzimo returned Ali's smile with one of his own That's an honorable code to live by though it was always nice to meet a new face Uzimo was eager to meet the King of these lands. He wanted to get permission to travel through them before he made himself at home.

Say, Ali, seeing as you are a suitor to the princess, you wouldn't happen to know who is the king of these lands, would you? Uzimo was still trying to be friendly, making idol conversation wouldn't be a bad thing, it had been a while since he had been in the presence of anyone important, maybe this prince could explain some etiquette on how to approach the King. Still it was too soon to ask this of him.

Ali nodded. "I do know. This is the realm of the mighty King Simba and the lovely Queen Nala," he said.

Nala found herself dreaming of the war that will soon come to the Pridelands, but only a glimpse of what will happen. The nightmare shook the Queen from her slumber and she groggily left Simba's side. Her blue eyes flickered with worry as she gazed through the royal den, she thought her family would be safe here. So many things crossed Nala's mind as she stepped from the den into the soft light outside.

Letting out a small yawn Nala blinked a few times to notice Ali speaking to another lion, a low growl slipped from her muzzle. Quickly Nala sprang over to Ali and her blue eyes quickly set on Uzimo, "Who are you and what is your business here on my lands? Trespassing is a rule that I suggest you learn not to break." she spoke sharply towards the new lion. With all the signs of war playing through the Queen's head, the last thing she needed was another spy from the outlands.

Ali walked over to the queen. "Don't worry, your majesty. I doubt Uzimo is much of a threat," he said, hoping to not get on Nala's bad side.

Uzimo hadn't meant to cause any trouble. The last thing he needed was to raise suspicion on himself. Slowly he stood. I apologize for my rude intrusion, as Ali said my name is Uzimo and i'm not here to cause any disturbance. I'm simply here to explore, nothing less and nothing more, with King Simba's approval and your permission of course.

Uzimo turned away for a moment facing outward, looking over everything that the light touched. You see, I'm just a wanderer, and I've traveled far to see these lands. He looked over his shoulder back to Nala.

However I do not wish to intrude, if you wish me gone you need just say so. Still it would be nice to at least spend a few days in these life filled lands. It's been a long time since I've had a place to rest Uzimo awaited the queen's response, he hoped for the best, but it seemed although he had stumbled upon hard times.

Maybe there was something he could do to help.

Nala looked to Ali, "Ali, I know you are rather new to our lands. But you cannot always tell a traitor by the way they look." she added with a soft sigh. Her ears perked forward at Uzimo's calm tone and she looked back to her den, "Simba should be awake soon. Ali, I'm heading out for a walk. When Simba awakes..inform him of our visitor." she ordered. With a small nodd to the two lions Nala hopped down from Pride rock's ledge and bounded off into the Pride lands.

The quiet morning kept her company as she walked along the border lands between the outlands and her home. Her blue eyes narrowed as she watched the quiet scenery, "What is your next move Zira....Well whatever it maybe I will be waiting." she growled softly.

Ali watched as the queen vanished from sight. Just then, Simba awoke and went outside. He saw the newcomer. "Hello. I am Simba, the king of the Pridelands. Who are you?" he asked.

Uzimo graciously bowed his head before Simba My name is Uzimo. I've come a far distance to ask permission to explore these lands. This area is famous for the tremendous beauty it stores within it. All i wish to do is see it for myself. he waited for Simba's approval before he dare take a step, he would not want to start any trouble with the ruler of these lands. He wish he would've done better making his first impression with the queen, but it was too late to go back now. All he could do was hope for the best and wait to be judged by the royalty that stood before him.

Simba smiled. "Well, you're in luck, Uzimo. I'm about to go on patrol with my son. Would you like to join us?" he asked, waiting for Kopa to arrive on the scene.

Mheetu's ears twitched at the soft voices outside the den and he leaned in giving Vitani a small lick, quietly he slid from her side. Stepping out of the den Mheetu's green eyes looked to Uzimo and then Simba. Noticing the King had made no quick movements Mheetu assumed he was friendly, "I'm Mheetu.." he managed to mutter out. Stretching forward and yawning once more Mheetu turned to Simba, "I asked Vitani to keep the cubs and Ruby close to Pride rock. We don't really know what Zira has up her sleeve so its better that way." he added reclining to his hinds.

Monstro was up before the sunrise and he stepped into the den where Kovu lay, he poked at him with his massive paw. "Come Kovu.." he ordered softly. Monstro lead the way from the cave as he waited for his son to join him outside the den, Monstro turned around to face Kovu claws extended.
