The Kandosii soon broke out of Hyperspace over Coruscant, and landing at the Temple. Canderous was resting in a bunk as the cubs came out of the ship. They saw Master's Bagheera and Rafiki along with Balto.

"You four, council chamber now." Rafiki said firmly. The four sighed as they followed.

"There's more to it than that," Nala said to Shujaa. "I'm curious as to what the Republic's response to this is."

Shujaa looked his daughter in the eyes. "Chancellor Mufasa and I are going to call the senate to session this evening to decide. Both of us think that we have no choice but to fight," he said.

Upon entering the chamber, they were faced with several Not too happy Masters. "You four deliberately disobeyed me." Rafiki said calmly.

"We saved our father's life!" Kovu said. "And the sith Academy will need some roof repair." Vitani added. "Yeah, we regret Nothing." Kopa said. " and none of you were any help." Vitani accused.

The Grandmaster of the Jedi order, a tiger named Rajah, looked at them. "We don't want to cast you out of the order, but we will if we have to. We give you a chance to apologize," he said.

"But that's where you're wrong," Nala retorted. "How many times have the Sith almost conquered the galaxy, but lost because they were too busy fighting each other? That's what happened in the great hyperspace war, and it's bound to happen again. If the Republic expands its military power, the Sith could exploit that. We jedi are loyal to the Republic. We are peaceful. Mercenaries are not."
