Plot –
For years now, there has been a war between two prides over the rulership of the land. The Jua Pride and The Mwezi Pride hate eachother so much, that they are prepared to kill. It has always been that way. The lead males have a rivalry going back generations. But now, with a cub being born to the mate of the lead male in the Jua Pride, and a cub being born to the mate of the lead male in the Mwezi Pride, will these cubs stop the war? One day they happen to meet eachother and become friends. Will there be romance? Or will there be tradegy? What happens when all hell is let loose?

Introduction of all characters
Cubs learning of the war between the two prides
Serious meeting between Gazna and Durmo, declaring now violence if necessary

The sun was dawning over the valley regain of Kirubi, this land was were two prides of different lions lived. The Jua Pride and the Mwezi Pride have been at war for generations, and now, a new generation was beginning. A proud mother called Lea was gazing at her newborn cub, who was to be the future leader of the Jua Pride. She smiled at the young cub and looked up to her mate.
"Durmo, what shall we name him? And look, his mark stands out just as yours did", Lea said softly, motioning towards the sun mark on his rump.

Meanwhile, Ganza, the leader of the Mwezi pride, gazed open his heavily pregnant mate, he guessed she would be going into labour soon. He hoped that the cub would be born in the late afternoon at the latest, for all Mwezi cubs were born near the night time.

Durmo was sitting next to his mate and looking down at their son. It was impossible for him to acknowledge the fact that he was now a father. "I want to name him Moto." he said, lying down next to Lea and nuzzling both her and the cub, smiling as he noticed the mark that was similar to his.

Haloea, Ganza's pregnant mate, was lying on her side inside the Mwezi pride's den. The more she got closer to the end of her pregnancy the more trouble she had moving. She looked up at her mate, smiling at the fact that he was by her side. "Ugh, I want our cub to be born already." she sounded a little annoyed, but she wasn't. She was more excited about becoming a mother than annoyed by having to carry the cub in her belly.

Lea smiled happily,
"Moto is a great name". She nuzzled her mate back lovingly. She was a mother at last. Suddenly, a lioness entered the den,
"Excuse me Sir, Miss, I have news. Miss Lea, your sister has had a male cub named Dakari, and your close friend has had a female called Fadhili". Lea nodded,
"Thank you, congratulate them both from me and Durmo".
------
Gazna chuckled,
"I can't wait to be a father, but remember, it's tradition for the cub to be born after sun down, try to hold out love". Secretly, he greatly hoped the cub would come late, he came late, so he was a true Mwezi, however, he doubted this cub was going to even make it to sun down.

Durmo smiled at the lioness, "Yes, send them both our congratulations." He then turned his attention back to his newborn cub. "His perfect my love."

Haloea chuckled, "It's not exactly something you can schedule honey." she couldn't control when the labor starts, but she already couldn't wait to see her cub.

~ WOOOOSH ~ TIME SKIP ~ WOOOOSH ~

Gazna paced nervously, the sun was now setting and he knew that the cub would be on it's way very, very soon. He looked at Haloea with a nervous glance,
"How are you feeling?".

Lea beamed.
"I'm so glad, I thought he would turn out like you", she joked as she laughed. She nibbled Durmo's ear affectionatley and licked her cubs forehead.

Haloea looked at her mate as he walked around in circles. "Could you stand still? You're making me feel dizzy." She sighed as her mate asked how she was feeling, "I feel fine." she noticed how nervous he was, "Honey, nothing bad will happen if the cub isn't born at night time. Why don't you just-" she stopped talking as she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her belly. [skip to after the cub is born?]

Durmo smiled and put one of his forelegs around his mates shoulder, hugging her close and nuzzling her. "Not only like me. He has your beautiful eyes." in his opinion, his life couldn't get any better.

After what seemed like an hour of worrying to Gazna after Haloea finally went into labour, he sighed in relief when a lioness who had helped came out of the den, saying she was alright and that he could go in. As he entered, he saw a black, female cub, with the same white moon mark and dazzling green eyes.
"She's beautiful", Gazna said, with tears of happiness in his eyes.

Haloea smiled down at her daughter. Finally, her pregnancy was over and she was a mother. She looked over at her mate, "You can come over you know, she wont bite." she said with a chuckle, gently nuzzling her mate once he lay down beside her. "Have you thought of a name for our little angel?"

The little newborn female cub was looking around, she smiled up at her two proud parents. Gazna sat and thought for a while, "Uskiu, if that's ok with you my love?".

Haloea smiled up at her mate, "A perfect name for our perfect angel." she nuzzled him and then looked at their daughter again, letting out a happy sigh.
