I've been searching for the 3D version of The Lion King...

Today I saw the Diamond Edition... is that the 3D version?

The diamond edition contains 4 discs, one with the 3D Blu-ray, one with the regular Blu-ray, one DVD, and a digital copy (not sure what that is).

It depends on the version you get. It should say right on the package whether it has the blu ray 3D disc in it or not. And @Regulus the Digital Copy is basically a code you can enter online to download the film onto your computer legally.

If you viewing the movie on the Blu-Ray 3D disc in the 4-disc combo pack, then, you are seeing the 3D version of the movie because of the 3D effects (seen only with 3D glasses) and the high-quality picture and surround sound.
