Something I quickly doodled on my diary, a little stupid story which quite shows how I think of the relationship between me and TLK.


I was on my way to school when suddenly a white light started to shine in front of me. I was immobilized in surprise as a handsome lion walked out of the light, with glorious mane around his face.

“Mufasa?!” I backed a bit, eyes enlarged in disbelief. Looking around, it seemed that nobody saw this at all. Suddenly I notice a boy was riding his bicycle straight at me! “Watch out!” I shouted. But he just rode THROUGH me, as if I was a phantom.

“What the… OMG, am I dead?!” I cried out,”What happened to me?”

“Calm down, son. You ARE dead indeed. In fact, you’ve been dead for fifteen years.”

“What? What…did you mean...”I stammered.

“Kopa, can’t you remember? Zira killed you 15 years ago. But some how your mind continued to live in this human body since then. It took us a long time to find the universe you live in now.”

All the memory poured into me. No wonder I love TLK, because that’s where I belonged to. No wonder I want to live Kopa’s life, because that’s what I had, because Kopa is who I am.

Now I stood with four paws on the floor. I walked to him, held out a paw to feel his mane, it felt soft and warm. Purring pleasantly, I rubbed against his foreleg. He smiled and nuzzled me back.

He whispered in my ear,”Come on, grandson, it’s time to go home.” And we walked into the white light together.
