[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Simba nodded. "Very well. Whenever you're ready, Pride Rock is over there," he said as he began to walk in that direction.

Kovu winked at Folle, and followed, limping, to the great rock. He slowly walked up to the promontory, looked out at the Pridelands that would one day be his, and went inside the cave.

Chaka wanted to stay and rest in the plains watching heards pass by, but there was one thing that catched his eyes. Folle.

Simba was already resting in the den, Nala at his side. He looked at the newcomers. "Well, Kovu, you and Folle arrived at an exciting time. Nala and I are searching out suitors for Kopa, Chaka and Kiara," he said.

"Oh," he replied, "I think I've heard it in the herd and on the wing, on the way out here. But, you're saying we should?"

Simba looked at him. "I don't understand you," he said.

"Saying we should be candidates. For their mates..." He hoped he wasn't acting too eager.

Simba shook his head. "No, I was just making conversation. The lions that are coming for them are princes and princesses," he said.

Chaka walked up Priderock looking down at the lands. He wondered why Kovu had looked so eager doing the same thing.

"Well, sorry. I was just..." he trailed off, but noticing Simba's expression, he changed the subject. "So, is there a Dyanna here?"
