The Forest on Elk Ridge (Always Open)

Soerca whispered to Thor, "When do you think you'll need another kill?" She had always been skeptical of the wolves joining with the elk. She believe in times of desperation they would turn and eat them, having gained their trust.

Thor shrugged. "In another day or two. However, don't worry. There's a herd of deer that we hunt," he said.

[Misiziri]

Soerca was still distrusting, but she hid it. "Ah. Well then."

They continued onward, marking on trees to know where they had wandered.

"How long till we reach the clearing, Soerca?!" one of the calves whined.

"Hush! Be patient."

[Zoketi]

[Yes, I just meant that eventually she would want to come back. ^^]

Rzu blinked. "Thanksss." He hissed, wincing as he slithered over. His bruised side hurt, but he could still move without too much pain.

[Misiziri]

(Huh?)

Soerca was exhausted, but forced herself to push onward. "Just... some more time to wait. We can make it. Shall... shall we take a rest?"

[Zoketi]

[LOL nevermind. x3]

Aleeni looked over. "That would be helpful." She replied, glancing back at an exhausted calf. Her own hooves ached as well.

[Misiziri]

Soerca plopped down on the ground that instant. "Let's sleep well so we can travel hard tomorrow."

They had forgotten about the puma but she had retreated into the woods not to reemerge until later.

[Zoketi]

Aleeni gratefully did the same. She settled in a comfy spot of grass, feeling her sleepiness sweep over her.

Rzu slid off Soerca's back, his tongue flicking. He slithered awkwardly over to a log, where he dove underneath. Moments later he swallowed the mouse, and curled up with a full stomach.

[Misiziri]

Deep in the night, a calf couldn't sleep. She ignorantly wandered around the forest, looking at strange leaves and running around trying to entertain herself.

[Zoketi]

[Uh oh.]

Zaru had fallen asleep clutching the tree limb. At a noise, she jolted awake and peered around. Something was moving below. Zaru sat up on the branch, hoping it wasn't danger. Moments later she spotted the shape of an elk calf running through the darkness.
