[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

"Fine. You can come," he sighed, realizing she was right. "If we get caught... I can't do it on my own. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. And," he added in a whisper, "if I do flirt with them, don't tell. Or laugh. Okay?"

Zira laughed at the two, thinking them lovebirds. "So, how long do you have to wait?"

Kovu poked his head outside. "We should leave now, actually. Bye, mom!"

Vitani laid against his warm fur, "I'm extremely glad we are home, getting to see the family again is great!" She answered, noticing the size difference between the two. Mheetu being large and strong, her only being small, still strong, but sly. The perfect couple laid under the stars, "So Mheetu, the thought on cubs?" She asked, digging her face in his goldy-red mane.

Kiara faked to be asleep, just in case she wouldn't wake up again. She really wanted to meet Kovu again, really liking him.

Nala snuggled close to Simba and smiled, "Were just lucky. Come on lets get some sleep." she whispered giving Simba's cheek a lick. She nestled her face into his chest fur and rested on his paws. Feeling the sleep grab hold of her, she didn't realize how exhausted she was.

Mheetu smiled and he could feel the chilly breeze a bit, but the den kept them warmer. "I'd love cubs and I think you'd be a great mom.." he said rubbing his head off hers. His rough pink tongue licked her cheek and he nuzzled her neck fur softly, his own green eyes catching the gaze of her purple/blue ones. His tail intertwined with hers and he wrapped his tail around the side of her keeping her warm. "When ever your ready for cubs, i'm ready." he insisted.

Dyanna's bright blue eyes lifted slowly as she noticed how quiet the den was, she slowly slinked from Sarafina's side. She sighed knowing this was against the rules, but she quietly padded outside waiting for Kiara. She could hear Mheetu and Vitani talking in their own den and she hid behind a rock, realizing they'd have to take the other way down Pride Rock.

Monstro watched Kovu and Folle head out towards the Pride lands, his mustard eyes narrowed as he watched them disappear. "Should I follow...?" he asked softly standing next to Zira. He looked up at the stars and then back at his mate, nuzzling her softly he smirked slightly. "I guess they both have it under control..." he muttered answering his own question.

Simba fell into a deep sleep as well. For some reason, he dreamed of the realm of the great kings and queens and of himself telling Mufasa and Sarabi how great he and Vitani were doing. He seemed to smile in his sleep.

Vitani blushed, "I'm ready." She commented, licking his mane with her rough tounge. Leading Mheetu into the night.

Kiara opened one eye, her parents, and grandparents were in a deep sleep. Surprised she was still awake after waiting about an hour. She got up and ran out of the den, using her huntress skills, making no noise. "Dyanna." She whispered, calling for her friend then noticing her. "Let's go." Whispering as she ran down Pride Rock.

Folle followed Kovu, "I can smell food, can I please go kill something after we meet them?" She asked, licking her lips. Seeing Kiara's pelt, she laughed. "She doesn't even know how to hide her bright fur!" She snickered quietly.

Kovu looked at her bright white fur. "Right back atcha. And I guess we could get something. I would like the chance. But we have to be careful." He turned to the approaching figures. "Hey, guys!"

Kiara blushed, "Hey Kovu, who's your friend?" Kiara asked politly, sitting in front of Kovu.

Folle snickered again, "I'm Folle, you can call me Lee, if you wanna." She answered the princess with a smile. The lion cub has now turned out to be a tomboy-ish adolescent with a spunky attitude. Always getting what she had in mind.

"Yeah. So, here's the thing." Instantly he thought of a lie. "I want to be king. You know, with you by my side. But your frayed would never let me. Kiara, I love you," he said, still lying, "and if this is going to move ahead, I need your help. What is Simba's weakness? A simple weakness, that I could manipulate easily. So we can be together." While he spoke these words, he pretended the face he saw was Dyanna's. This made it easier.

Zira looked out at the Pridelands. "He really is growing up, hm?" And she snuggled up next to Monstro, and closed her eyes.

Dyanna gasped softly at Kovu's words and she stepped inebtween Kiara and Kovu, "What do you mean Simba's weakness? Hes King.." she said softly. Her bright blue eyes narrowed slightly at Folle and she looked back at Kovu, "Plus Kiara will never be Queen, Kopa's next in line." she said concerned for the information her best friend might say.

Montro nodded, "Lets just hope he knows what hes doing.." he muttered.

"If it's for love, Dyanna, we can all be royalty," he smiled. He turned back to Kiara. "Right, love?"
