[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Kovu stood up, and shook his small mane out. "Yes. Okay. Kiara." He knew she recognized him. Or did she? "In case you forgot, I'm Kovu." He poked his head beyond Kiara, and noticed Dyanna. "Hello, gorgeous," he muttered, frozen. He shook his head, and looked at Kiara. "So... what's been going on lately?"

Kiara sighed, "Well. My eldest brother was chosen to be next king, and as you can see. We've all matured!" She laughed, realizing Adult-Hood would be coming soon then marriage, then Mother-Hood. Joy, but she's been thinking about names. Taka, for a boy. Rangi, for a female!

Vitani looked at Simba once again, "Where are the tiny ones?" She asked, looking behind Simba for her niece and nephews. Yet again, she got the idea of her own cubs. The feeling came over her to speak with Mheetu in their den tonight, about a family.

Simba smiled. "They're playing over at the waterhole. If you like, I can take you over to see them," he suggested.

Sarafina smiled and nuzzled Mheetu, "Run along and see the cubs. I want to speak with you later." she said resting her head back down on her paws with a smile.

Mheetu looked to Simba and smiled, "Of course, lets go see these troublemakers." he said chuckling. Giving Vitani and nuzzle of his own he walked beside her as they slowly made their way to the watering hole. Mheetu looked at Nala, "How does Kiara look? Like you?" he asked curiously trying to picture his niece.

Nala smiled as she walked beside Simba, "Well Kopa is future King, hes going to replace Simba. Kopa is Simba's mini me and well Kiara looks a little like me and Simba. But Chaka, he well...a blend?" she said with a side smile.

Simba was very excited. "Come on. I'm sure they can't wait to see their aunt and uncle," he said as he began to head for the waterhole.

Kiara noticed her parents coming their way. Knowing Kovu was a part of Zira's clan, she pushed him into the grass. "Kovu, run. My parents are coming. If they see you. They'll kill you!" She whispered, pushing him further into the grass. Kovu ran.

Vitani walked alongside her family. "Oh Simba, the children sound so beautiful!" Laughing, she saw the waterhole up ahead. "They'll probably be surprised to hear their aunt and uncle are together." She laughed, looking at Mheetu and nuzzling him.

Dyanna's eyes went wide as she heard the chatter of Kiara's parents, "Run!" she whispered. She playfully tried to distract her parents and she pushed Kiara into the watering hole. Making lots of noise she splashed around with her best friend and her bright eyes blinked a few times as she looked up at Mheetu and Vitani. "Tani..Mheetu!" she shrieked. Running up to the adults she looked up smiling, "How is my sister? How is the Pride?" she wondered.

Mheetu gave Vitani a nuzzle back and his mossy green eyes glanced down at the cubs and how big they grew. "Look at all of you.." he said with a smile. He saw Dyanna run up to him, "Your sister married Delano and everyone is doing good. They are good and Tempesta also told me to tell you, to come home when your ready." he said giving the small cub a hug. He ran over to Kopa and Chaka and rubbed his paw on their heads, "Look at my nephews.."

Nala reclined to her hinds next to Simba and looked to her cubs, "This is Uncle Mheetu and Aunt Tani. They are now well..together.." she said bluntly.

Simba waited for his cubs to respond. "Come on, you three, don't be rude," he said aloud.

Kovu ducked deep into the grass, listening for information. None of it was really vital so far, but it was worth a listen.

Simba sighed. "Cubs, greet your aunt and uncle this instant!" he said, starting to get frustrated.
