Nello said, "That is true." he looked curiously at him, "You're his son. Why would you help us?"

Karus' son said, "Well Nello and Membo you should know. After he uh gave you mates...I asked him if I could become like him. He said no."

Membo raised an eyebrow, "Why would he do that? You're his son. I mean, I understand why he brought his daughter into this, because he thinks does are useless. But you? Why would he say no to you?"

Karus' son said, "Oh 'my little Membo' still not using your brain I see?"

Nello held his cousin from doing anything and again looked at Karus' son. "Answer the question. We need to know we can trust you." Nello could remember Karus saying no to his son, so there was no doubt that he was telling the truth about that.

Karus' son sighed and said, "Only Karus can be immortal. If he were to share that he would lose most of his power. Your son he'll only use then kill him."

Karus' son sighed and said, "Princey Nello perhaps you can shut up for a moment so I can think pig hmm?" He then said, "I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that Karus cannot be stopped conventionally."
