Kodi frowned and shoved the female away, "What are you doing?!"

Annabeth however was already gone. The female dogs laughed, "Whoops that must have been your little girl-wolf," they mocked.

Kodi ran after Annabeth, "Annabeth wait!"

Annabeth however didn't look behind her.

Kodi continued running after her, "It's not what it looks like!" suddenly however a figure showed up. Before Kodi could realise what was going on it knocked Annabeth out and by the time Kodi wanted to react they were both gone.

Annabeth went through darkness and started to look around, "Where am I?"

Annabeth noticed after a few moments that her legs were tied up. A voice then came behind her, "You know, when I got you locked up in the clinic my goal was for you to not make it out..."

Annabeth said, "Where's Kodi! Who are you?!"

Balto then revealed himself, "You actually learned my son's name?" he gave a fake chuckle, "I think the real question is who are you and why did you try to kill my son a few nights ago."
