Geni was just running out of the giant mound when suddenly a deep, growling voice pierced her ears. Stopping in her tracks with a bounce, she quickly turned her head in the direction of narrowed dirty-yellow eyes. Stepping into the moonlight, she responded. "This is the second time someone asks me this in a harsh way! I'm Geni, and just found my way here searching for what my heart was leading me to, a place to stay." She sneered, appparently this male thought he was boss here, if he only knew her life.

Regina got tired of waiting and went to find Geni. She walked around a bit, despite her exhaustion and finally found Geni confronting a male lion. She backed away, attempting to stay out of sight, but didn't quite do a good job of it.

Geni went a few steps toward the male menacingly, she heard faint padding with her acute sense of hearing. It came from the mound, where she had left Regina, turning her head slightly she saw friend's amber eyes. "Regina? I thought you were tired."

"I was, but I decided to come look for you, since you seemed to take long," Regina replied, trying to stay out of sight of the male lion.

"Well, it seems this male decided to take on me" she said with a scoff. "That is very rude of you, who ever you are. Interrupting a search for food in these disgusting, barren lands." She stood erect and glared at him again.

Nala smiled, "I know my mother was surprised." she chuckled and stood to her paws, "Lets make our way back...better get to bed." she grumbled softly. she stepped lightly and let Simba catch up with her, she nuzzled into his mane as they walked back to Pride rock slowly.


Monstro growled at Geni, " I'm Monstro. This is the outlands. They belong to me." he added back annoyed with her tone. His ears flattened back to his cranium tightly and he turned his head to look at Regina. "And you..?" he asked. After hearing another comment from Geni he stepped forward and growled in her face, his hot breath fell down upon her as he stood above her. "You would be wise to watch your tone.." he snapped growling his fangs flashing a moment. He didn't have time for empty threats or beat up females.

"I'm Regina. I mean you no harm," the lioness answered nervously. Monstro vaguely reminded her of her cruel former mate. She was eager to be away from him.

Geni inclined on her hind legs as Monstro threw himself to her with a growl that would turn into a roar any second. "Fine, I will. Since you seem to be the leader here, WHICH I DID NOT KNOW, I approve." As she was turning she gave a smirk and then smiled. Then she went on her way again, giving a nod toward Regina, telling her to hunker down for a while.

Regina did as instructed. Meanwhile, Simba was following Nala and waiting to see his cubs again. However, he had no knowledge of what they were doing.
