Vitani continued staring down at her paws, so far relieved as her parents in law seemed to not be suspicious of anything. She didn't feel like she was ready for anybody else to know just yet. She didn't know that Kopa's parents already got the impression but were not showing it.

Kopa went over to Vitani. "Well, at least they didn't get angry," he whispered in her ear.

Vitani looked at Kopa and whispered back, "Look, about last night... We don't have to tell everybody right away right?"

"No, we don't have to tell them," Kopa whispered in response.

Vitani whispered, "I know we have to let them know at some point, but not yet."

"We can do so whenever you wish," Kopa whispered back.

Vitani sighed out of relief and then headed over towards her step-mother, "Hey, Serena..." she said, hoping that the older lioness wasn't mad at her.

Vitani said, "I'm sorry I didn't come home last night."
