Gumu's eye winced as he got remembered of Daxis once more. Wanting to spare other animals from his oh so terrible and eternal wrath, he tried to convince her not to go there at least untill he gets permission from Simba to discipline him.

"Mila." He appeared to be thinking. "I advice you not to meet with this Daxis for the time being.. you do not want to experience that." He shuddered for a moment, thinking of the abomination. "You do not." He said with a grin now.

His eyebrows leaped higher as he remembered what he was going to pride rock for, asking Simba permission!

"Speaking of Daxis, I must really report his behaviour, it is getting out of hand." He then warped a glance at Nala. "He even sneered at the queen." He scratched his paw mildly whilst talking. "The worst part is, your king ordered me to not mind it."

Mila listened to Gumu, and took note of his apparent disgust for Daxis. She had not met this lion yet, but from what Gumu was telling her now and what Nala had just said prior, he was not the nicest lion around.

Mila giggled as Gumu grinned, surprised that a lion with such formal speech would grin so easily. Hastily responding to the lions advice, Mila spoke up to answer him. "Okay, I won't." She said through the soft giggles.

After Gumu had finished speaking about his plans, she spoke up once more. "Sneered at the queen?" Mila snickered, a bit taken back. "Definitely rude behavior." She commented. She had no idea why anyone would have the nerve to do something so stupid. "I'll come with you if you would like, I probably want to meet this jerk and tell him how NOT to treat my mom." She added.

Daxis was almost asleep when he noticed a strange lioness around the waterhole. He opened his eyes and saw a golden lioness with white paws. He really liked her appearance but acted still evil and arrogant.

Hey who are you tell me i wanna know it come on hurry up.

He sat up and looked evily at her while stretching his muscles.

Laini winces as the stranger rudely aproached her. She pulled back and got a short look on the stranger. It was the red maned lion. His agressive attitude made her afraid of him due she really hated to brawl. Laini just nodded and took her leave as fast as possible. She did not completely satisfy her thirst but this could wait. She was used to getting out of the way if any other lion tried to pick on her.

As fast as she could she headed back to pride rock.

Daxis was angry that the golden furred lioness went away without telling him her name.
He ran in her way snarled loudly and looked angry at her with extended claws.
He stomped with one tiny paw on the ground and made himself taller in front of the strange lioness.
Then he yelled at her with deep voice.

Hey i asked you something answer me right now or i will show you something

He grined evily and showed his claws.

Laini winced back as Daxis prevented her from leaving. Her eyes were wide open and scanned the young lion. He seemed to have just passed the cubhood and was still very young and inexperienced. Even so he was bigger then Laini.
If was not as if Laini was that weak to not take care of this youngster but she did really despise brawls.

Nonetheless she did not intend to wait here and giving this stranger the chance to bully or even attack her. She carefully made her way around him. Her silk like fur was glimmering in the red sun that just was about to rise. Her blue eyes still fixed on Daxis she tried to get into a position where she could dash to pride rock.
She was really cautious about Daxis because he already bared his claws. She was ready to dash at any situation he would start to attack. Her claws still were retracted and she did not show any sign of wanting to brawl. All her body language showed clear that she did neither like nor want to brawl and just wanted to get out of this place.
The agressive attempt of Daxis made her insecure. Her tail flipped nervous from the left to the right while she tried to come into a position where Daxis would not be in her way to pride rock and her den.

Taraji was looking back and forth between Kovu and Kiara. Her crystal eyes were full of interest now and she looked a little bit livelier.

Finally beginning to stir, Simba awoke with his typical long winded stretch and yawn, taking a look around the main den to get familiarized with who was still around. Only spotting Vitani, who seemed to be sleeping in late as he had, the king decided to let her be, noting her actions of the previous night which hadn’t gone unnoticed by him. Quietly making his way out of the den, his dry maw encouraged Simba to make his way towards The Private Waterhole, taking the back path to get there, unwilling to show himself for the time being, knowing that he had slept in way too late as usual. Even though he was the king, Simba still upheld a level of dignity that he considered to be crucial in the eyes of the creatures around him and more importantly, to his fellow Pride Members.

As the king arrived at the secluded waterhole, he noticed that there wasn’t anyone around. Figuring that both Daxis and Gumu had already gotten a jump on the day, Simba merely ignored this fact, making his way towards the clear water and taking a long, refreshing drink from the pristine pool. Once his thirst was quenched, the king finally took note of the distant creatures who seemed to come into view only after his own wants had been filled. Perking up his ears and straining his vision to get a better picture of what was going on, Simba could make out the small image of Daxis and another lioness. Rising to his paws, Simba slowly started to make his way towards the two felines, recognizing the young lioness as being Laini as he got closer.

A low growl emitted from the king’s muzzle as he caught wind of what Daxis was blatantly shouting at the poor lioness. By the looks of her, she was obviously agitated and unsure of what to do in the young male’s presence. Feeling his limits tested already by this unruly adolescent, Simba let out a irritated roar as he charged Daxis. In a single movement, he had the smaller male easily pinned under his fore paws as he glared down at him with a cold stare.

”By the Kings, what is your problem Daxis! Threatening another member of my pride after I clearly warned you about such actions? Do you not listen or do you just choose not to obey the laws of my lands, hmm? Well, speak up! Explain yourself now or so help me, I will take immediate action against you.”

Giving the male a chance to explain himself, Simba looked over at Laini with a stare that indicated for her to stay put. Even though he assumed that Daxis was the cause of this drama, he couldn’t be for certain as Laini’s actions were never very apparent most of the time either. Even if he did trust Laini more than this arrogant adolescent, he still had to give Daxis the benefit of the doubt and let him state his side of the story before he passed judgment.

==========

Nala smiled from the way Mila referred to her being her mother, sending a surge of pride to course through her veins as she continued to watch the two felines intently. Speaking once there was a break in the conversation between her two fellow Pride Members, the cream colored queen giggled in an amused fashion.

”Oh Mila, don’t waste your energy on Daxis. With the way he acts, I have a feeling he won’t last long in our pride. You know how forgiving Simba is but even he has his limits when it comes to those who disobey the law. I’ll give him three moons before he’s out on his tail in The Outlands.”

Laughing casually to ensure that she was joking for the most part, as Nala never wished misfortune upon any creature, the queen once more, quieted down and allowed for Mila and Gumu to resume their conversation if they so chose to, lightly scratching her belly with a fore paw as she kept her ears perked.

Daxis intended his calws as fast as he could when he saw Simba saw him while threating the golden furred lioness.
He tried to get rid of Simbas grip but Simba was definitely stronger. The red maned cub shiverd a bit and had fear in his eyes.
Daxis stuttered as he spoke low and fearful to the king.

S...She insulted me and ran away from me. I just wanted to know her name.

He hoped Simba dont realize he lied to him.

Laini was just about to burst and run as Simba joined them. The short fight between the males gave her the rest. Only the look of Simba made her freeze in her move to flee this place of brutal forces. She layed down obidiently. The stare of Simba was more then words. She knew that she was not allowed to leave yet and the last thing she would do was to angry the king.

As Simba turned back to Daxis Laini blushed a bit while pressing her body on the ground and making her presence nearly fading away. She never have thought the king would stand up for her. No male ever did that before.
But in reality she really wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. She was not good with fighting. There were actually very few things she really was good with. Like grooming herself and grooming herself and grooming and... well not much more.

Laini lowered her head to the ground to show her obidient respect before the king. She did not speak up but waited for the kings decision.

Simba glared down at Daxis as he listened to what the adolescent was telling him. From the look given by the young male, Simba was pretty convinced that he was most likely lying however, knowing that being fair was the right thing to do, the king addressed Laini in a more pleasant tone.

”Is this true Laini? Did you Insult Daxis and if so, why might I ask, did you do such a thing? You’ve never seemed like the type to start any trouble so it’s hard for me to believe this. Be honest with me now and tell me the truth.”

Keeping his fore paws held firmly against Daxis’s chest as to keep the young male immobilized for the moment, giving Laini the chance to respond without fear of the young male’s intimidating nature being in her way. Looking down at Daxis, Simba muttered to the pinned male in a low tone.

”I hope you’re not lying to me Daxis. I don’t put up with creatures who aren’t truthful. If Laini tells me you started this trouble, you’re seriously going to be out on your tail in The Outlands.”
