Well lions dont spell things, so...
Lions don't speak either =3

If it were "you're", the rest of Mufasa's speech just doesn't make sense, and Mufasa isn't prone to spouting verbal diarrhea ^.^
You're missing the point of what I'm saying. But this subject is so minute that I won't bother arguing anymore.

*Facepalm* How shall I explain this... Mufasa is saying : "And YOUR future king!" implying Simba will rule over Scar one day so he'd better show some respect. The WRITERS, and the writer's using THEIR OWN voice, not the writer's developing and showing Mufasa's character, I THINK implied Scar was going to be king later on in the movie. Of course it ended up as a disaster, but it DID happen. I think, for the story part Mufasa was indicating Simba's rule, but to add a second, more elusive meaning that Scar would be future king.

That's my take on it anyway.
I understand what you mean, but I disagree. I really don`t think there was any foreshadowing, just Mufasa demanding some respect from his rude little brother.
I agree. Otherwise his words doesn't make sense.

They make perfect sense to me. He was just telling Scar off for treating Simba with disrespect. I don't see how there has to be a hidden message behind it all.

Agree completely. People overthink things waaaaaay too much. Ever consider the idea that he said it how he meant it? That Simba will be king one day, and Taka needs to start respecting him and not call him a hairball when he has to bow to him.

Forgive me, then. I didn't think into it; it simply popped into my head while watching it one day. I think you're taking this more seriously than it needs to be taken. Why do people feel the need to be condescending? If I did the same, sorry.

I think I'll have this topic locked because, on conclusion: More than likely, there was no foreshadowing. But we will never know for sure unless we contact a Disney official, which I doubt any of will do, unfortunately. I've obtained my answer. Thanks for them.
