Because they're annoying, selfish, greedy, have stupid and corny jokes, and are disgusting.

And the fact that they mocked Mufasa is why I find it offensive.

They didn't even know they mocked Mufasa, chill out. =P How the hell were they supposed to know about Mufasa's murder? Blame Disney for that, and not Timon and Pumbaa.

I fond their involvement in the stampede really bad. Besides, where was Simba? It's like they wanted to distract us from one of the most powerful scenes in The Lion King.

I understand that they had no idea. I find it offensive because of their attitude (mostly)

And I understand it was truely Disney, but I blame Timon and Pumbaa because of their ignorance and attitude. Timon is a selfish furball who makes up corny jokes and Pumbaa is a smelly hunk of bacon that talks. I just don't see how they're likable. Though I respect anyone who does like them. Its my opinion that was just stated.

I think their humor is corny but it slightly made me laugh in some cases.

I hated the whole movie. I only liked the parts that had actual lions. Maybe, because I hate the movie, I find it offensive. :/

In my opinion if you accidentally mock someone, y'know and it is actually unintentional then it is easier to forgive someone.

Agreed, if the movement was acciedental, blaming them is rather naive, perhaps it felt offensive, but Timon and Pumbaa had no way of knowing the importance of that event.

I know. I just hate their attitudes. They ruin everything. Perhaps thats another reason why I saw it offensively :?
It offended me. Not only is it an important scene that they're moking, it's a very sad tragedy.
Exactly.

I dislike Timon and Pumbaa, although they can have certain moments where they amuse me. But for the most part I just find them stupid and annoying.

I really don`t think they needed their own movie, because they have their own (bad) TV show already. I actually watched a few episodes of this many years ago, when it was airing on TV on Sunday mornings.. But even back then, I didn`t find it funny, so my age has got nothing to do with me not liking them, the fact is I never have.

I`ve only watched this movie once, and I`m NOT watching it again.
