The vet got up and walked over to his closet as if to get something. But he only did it so that he could look at what was going on. He opened the closet and got out a large book and some more paper.

As the human was doing that all the wolf did was put her head right next to Kodi's head. Hopefully he wouldn't wake up.

The vet looked again as he headed back towards his desk, before sitting down and writing down what he had seen so far and what were his conjectures. Kodi was still sleeping.

The wolf kept pondering what to do. 'I can't like him! I have to kill him! But wait he seems so nice. But no it must be done or my father will torture me!' However she did nothing except lick him again.

The vet then realised that he couldn't keep the wolf in there once it was morning because the other villagers would not like it. He decided to wait untill he could figure out a way to get her out of the clinic. Annabeth's companion meanwhile was wondering where she was.

Meanwhile Steele was making a lot of ruckus at the wolf cave. "Let me see your leader at once! I have to tell him something! His daughter has not returned so the wolf-dog probably killed her!" Meanwhile Annabeth got up and hit Kodi in the nose to wake him up. "Hey dog wake up!"

One of the wolves growled at Steele, "Our leader is asleep." since it was his job to watch the pack at night he said, "Go and find out where she is. She and her companions." Kodi clutched onto his nose and sat up, "What?"

Steele asked, "Who me? You want me to find her and the wolf-dog? Will your leader agree with this?" Annabeth said, "You didn't notice the female dog was licking you while you were asleep eh? How do you feel about that? Does that invade your privacy?"

The wolf shook his bead, "No. You stay away from the wolf dog, only the leader can have him. You will check where exactly is the daughter and her companions are. If you see them tell them to come back." Kodi raised an eyebrow, "Dusty? She's in a cage." he looked around before remembering that the vet left Dusty's cage in the hall. "And her cage isn't even here."

The wolf said, "Well uh...she got out of the cage. Again does that make you angry that she would do that?" Steele said, "But I can give him to the leader. I hate the wolf-dog just as much as your leader! He made me an outcast. I lost to a mutt half-breed!"
