Marini eyed Fadhili carefully as she walked away with her brother. Something seemed wrong about the young lioness. She should look worried for Kujasiri, but she looked scared for some reason. Fadhili then said to Mufalfa, "I thought I should inform you this time..." she knew how to convince him if he found it too odd, "Me and that lion are going out." the best way to get him to agree was somehow teasing Kujasiri, which was going to be hard, but she was going to do it if she had to.

Dakari shook his head, "He's even weirder."

Mufalfa rubbed his eyes. "Whoah I must either be losing my hearing or you must be losing your mind. Did you just say that you wanted to go out with the same lion who bullied your boyfriend and made him run away?" Mufalfa looked at Fadhili. "Nope it must be I am losing my hearing. So please tell me you didn't mean that." The adolescent just snickered at it all behind the grass. This was perfect. He knew that eventually the lioness would grow to like him no matter what he did to her. If she was under his control long enough she would like him.

Mzuri said, "Well that was a mean thing to say."

Fadhili nodded, "You were right. He was not worthy of me." she had a hard time saying it and speaking clrearly, but she did it anyways, "If he had cared about me he wouldn't run away like that." she didn't mean even a single word she was saying. "What are you nervous about? You said that whoever I go out with must be someone strong who will be able to protect me." she knew that she was right, all she had to do was remind him that he was the one who had said that.

Dakari eyed her with a grin, "I can tell that you agree with me."

Mufalfa got angry. "Forget what I said! I was wrong!" Now that Kujasiri was missing and could be hurt Mufalfa would defend the young lion now. "I thought you said you cared about him! He ran away because he couldn't stand losing you! And beating up and picking on someone else is not strength so that other lion is not strong!" Mufalfa calmed down though and gave her a frown. "But it is your life. You wanted me out of your life, well I am out of it. I hope you are happy and I hope Kujasiri is happy finding himself a new lioness out there. My rule still stands. Dakari will succeed me." Mzuri laughed. "Well I mean he is...he looks mean. I don't know."

Fadhili's tears returned after her brother had left. He was right and she knew it, and as much as she wanted to say that she agreed with him, she couldn't. She felt so ashamed of herself that she collapsed onto the ground and started sobbing uncontrollably.

Dakari nodded, "True. He looks wierd and mean at the same time."

Mufalfa walked over to Dakari and said, "Dakari come here." Once Dakari was here he showed him the vast land around him. "Do you see this Dakari? Everything that you see belongs to you. It is all your's and Mzuri's. You have earned it."

The adolescent laughed at her sobs. "Oh you'll get used to being my mate. You still haven't convinced him to make my cubs his heirs."

Dakari looked at Mufalfa. "Thank you sir." there was one thing he was curious about, "If you don't mind me asking, why are Mzuri and I the ones to succeed you? Where I came from it was passed from the father to one of his cubs."

Fadhili looked at him, trying to stop herself from crying, "How am I going to do that? He's furious about me because of you." she lost track of her 'respectful' behaviour, but quickly noticed it and apologized "I apologise for speaking so rudely..." she said and lowered her head, "How do I convince him? He's mad and probably wont listen to me."

Mufalfa smiled. "My sister has been cut off from this family for her regretful decision. You are my only son as far as I can see." He then said, "Well if you'll excuse me." He went back to Marini. "I don't know what is wrong with the kids these days Marini. Fadhili is in love with the lion who bullied your brother. She said that she wanted to go out with him and have cubs with him and everything else."

The adolescent laughed. "Well you better find a way to do it soon or I will take matters into my own hands by killing those cubs." He laughed. "Now once you do convince him the next step of my plan won't happen until we are adults. I will poison your brother."

Dakari was confused. He sighed and walked back towards Mzuri. Marini was surprised, before remembering the way Fadhili looked a moment ago, "Mufalfa, when she talked to you, did you notice anything wierd about her? I mean, she's not acting like herself... I've seen her behaviour since we met, something's wrong with her."

Fadhili was once again horrified, but she then asked, "If you are going to poison him, then why do I have to convince him? He will die anyways and you can do whatever you want." she hoped that what she was saying made sense.

Mufalfa just shook his head. "Yeah what is wrong with her is she has puppy love and ought to be cut off from this pride."

The adolescent laughed. "I am not going to poison him until at least a year from now. Besides his mate has to know who succeeds him anyway." He then said, "Oh and Fadhili. You better get that sad look off of your face so that they don't suspect anything. I know you must want me dead but if I go down you are going down with me. I will tell everyone how you helped me kill Kujasiri and bury his body." Once she turned away he said, "Fadhili...I love you."
