Long Ears was confused, "What do you mean? I apologized and everything."

Geno shrugged, "We could..." but he shook his head as he realised that he had no idea.

Garo smiled upon seeing Gurri was awake, "Hey you." he said, looking around them. Faline and Garo's parents were still asleep, and Bambi had probably gone to perform his duties way earlier.

Long Ears' mate said, "That is not what I mean."

Lana said, "Well I...I'm going to eat something."

Gurri smiled as well. "Hey." Suddenly Faline woke up and remembered what she said to Bambi last night. She went over to Gurri and said, "Is everything alright Gurri?" "Well uh..." She then looked at Garo, "Anything you want to tell me?"

Long Ears sighed, "Then what do you mean?"

Geno slowly nodded, "I'll go with you."

Garo became a little nervous. Why did Gurri's mother have to make the conversations between them so stressful? He looked at Gurri, not knowing if she wanted her mother to know yet, but eventually he managed to gather the courage and finally spoke up, "Uh, yes ma'am... Gurri will be having fawns in a few months..."

Long Ears' mate said, "I mean standing up for your friends."

Lana nodded and went a patch of grass and started eating.

Faline looked shocked at first but then her expression went to happiness. "Oh this is wonderful news!" She then looked at Gurri, "Can I talk to you alone?" Gurri nodded and went with Faline.

Long Ears said, "Do I... Wait, you're not going to start another scene are you?"

Geno followed Lana, but he wasn't realyl hungry.

At first, Garo was silent and lay completely still, but he felt like he was going completely insane as he waited for the mother's response. When she smiled and said that it was wonderful news, Garo did not bother to hide his relief. Once his mate had gone with her mother, Garo let out a long, relieved sigh.

Faline looked at Gurri and said, "I know you must be nervous but don't be. I'll try to help you through this every step of the way. I know what the experience is like." Gurri smiled so they both went back to Garo. "And Garo: if you leave I'll make sure to hunt you down."

Lana kept eating. "Geno aren't you hungry?"

Long Ears' mate said, "No."

Garo frowned at Faline , even if doing that was a little dis-respectful, "I wont." sometimes he got the feeling that Faline was always comparing him to what Ronno was before he gave up his hatred.

Geno shook his head, "No, not really."

Long Ears shook his head, "Then can we stop talking about it?"

Long Ears' mate nodded her head. "Very well."

Lana nodded but continued eating.

Gurri went over to Garo and said, "I know you won't leave me." She smiled at Garo and said, "Geno still hasn't returned. Uh are you feeling better today? I am going out and looking for my brother."

Long Ears then looked at his friends, "So... uh... How was your night?"

Geno watched Lana eat and eventually became hungry, he started eating as well.

Gato smiled at Gurri's reassurance, before getting to his feet. His wounds didn't hurt anymore, in-fact now that he looked at them, most of them were already gone. "Yeah, I'm feeling better. I'll go with you."

Bambi the skunk looked at Long Ears. "Uh okay."

Lana smiled as she saw Garo start to eat. She looked up at the sky and noticed it was midday. "It is noon already."

Gurri nodded and went ahead and started walking. She started yelling out "Geno!" Eventually she went to an open field and saw Geno and wait...was that the mean doe...together?! "Do you see that Garo?"
