Geno was able to continue smiling, but he had no idea what to say.

Leah managed to calm down, "I think I'll go to sleep now." she said with a sigh and lay down. She decided not to worry about it right now, the important thing was that Garo was okay.

Thumper shook his head, "I'm sure there's other things you can get a good laugh from."

Bambi the skunk's mate rolled her eyes. She was simply too tired at the moment in order to deal with all of that. "You better try to get a hold of that wierd habit of yours." Meanwhile Long Ears was trying to somehow get his mate less angry with his friend, "It's not his fault. It's just the way it is, he always talks nonsense when he's nervous, I'm sure he didn't mean it."

Lana said, "Would you...uh want to be mates or do you want to wait a while?"

Ronno nodded and said, "I love you Leah and I would never let anything happen to you." He then went over to Garo and said, "Light's out son. Time to go to sleep. Now listen young man."

Flower sighed and said, "Welll yes but when you're scared you either laugh or cry."

Bambi the skunk said, "I can't! I...I'll try. I'm sorry. Please don't hate me!" He looked desparate at trying to not get her more mad at him. "Please forgive me! Please don't hate me!" Long Ears' mate said, "Uh huh. Yeah. Sorry but you know when you are nervous you are the most truthful. I have no doubt his insults are what he truly thinks."

Geno was making sure that he understood exactly what Lana meant, "By being mates you mean... just being mates or..."

Leah grinned as Ronno spoke to Garo in a fatherly tone. Garo looked up at his father, "Okay dad. Good night" he remembered that he had to respect his father despite the fact that he wasn't a fawn anymore. After that he lay his head down by Gurri's

Thumper nodded, "That is true... We both have some catching up to do to cover for all this time."

Bambi's mate shook her head, "It's your friend you should give this speech to, not me." she then looked around for a patch of grass where they could both sleep. Long Ears nodded, "I know, and I agree with you. But I'm sure he didn't mean to say it out loud."

Lana looked at Geno, "I mean I love you Geno with all of my heart."

Ronno again spoke to Garo. "Uh yeah and also listen to your mother and I and everything..." He stopped and said, "Well goodnight." Gurri smiled and said, "Keep on respecting your father Garo."

Flower laughed. "Indeed my friend."

Bambi the skunk blushed and said, "Well uh I know. I doubt he'll ever speak to me again." Long Ears' mate kept getting more angry. "I don't care. That just showed what he really thought of me! Are you going to let him say that to me!"

Geno smiled, "I love you too." but he still wasn't at all sure of what was supposed to happen next. "Well, uh... You must be tired..."

Garo again looked up at his father, "I will dad." before he lay his head back down he looked at Gurri, "I am." it felt good to show respect to his father and really mean it.

Thumper then said, "Remember the night I refused to go to sleep one night so I came and hid in your cave?" he remembered that his parents tried to find him for hours.

Bambi the skunk's mate sighed, "You're trouble, not mine. I don't want to get involved. She then spotted a patch of grass which seemed like it would do. Long Ears quickly shook his head, "No, of course not." he wasn't angry at his friend, but he really wanted his mate to calm down.

Lana smiled and licked him. "I am not tired at all with you here."

Gurri smiled and said, "I know you are Garo. I am proud of you." Ronno came back to Leah and said, "It...felt good to actually be a father. I missed pretty much missed all of Garo's fawnhood. I will never forgive myself for that."

Flower laughed. "Yeah you tried to hide behind me but your parents finally found you. And your mother said, 'What did your father tell you?' Do you remember what you said my friend."

Long Ears' mate said, "I will give him one more chance." She went out and told Bambi the skunk, "Alright I'll give you one more chance. Don't blow it." It was then in nervousness that Bambi the skunk said, "Alright Ms. Bossy." "Out get out!" yelled Long Ears' mate.

Geno smiled, returning the gesture, "I'm not tired either."

Garo smiled, before giving Gurri a short nuzzle and then placing his head back down. Leah in the meantime smiled at Ronno, At least you're not missing anything now." she was happy that Ronno could now be a routine part of Garo's life.

Thumper laughed, "No, actually I can't at all. He told me so many things that I can hardly remember even what I said."

Both Long Ears and Bambi the skunk's mate, almost respectively, brought a paw to their forehead as Bambi the skunk once again blew it. Bambi's mate then grabbed him and literally dragged him to the patch of grass she had picked a moment ago, "Why don't we shut the hole that makes the words?" Long Ears sighed and didn't say anything.

Lana said, "Well uh have you ever thought of fawns?"

Ronno smiled and said, "Thank you Leah for that. You always know how to make me happy. I love you so much." He smiled at Leah and said, "Well goodnight." He put his head down and closed his eyes.

Flower laughed. "Neither can I."

Long Ears' mate suddenly laughed a big laugh, a laugh all of them could hear. She then said to Bambi the skunk, "You can come back." She looked at Long Ears and Bambi's mate with a sense of humor and scorn. "See you both failed the test. I wanted to know how much your friend meant to either of you. Obviously not a whole lot." Although Bambi's mate and Long Ears looked mad Bambi looked at Long Ears' mate with respect. She was right, they were about to trash him out.

Geno was a little nervous about answering that one, and so decided to indirectly do so, "Well, I... Do you want fawns?"

Leah smiled, before losing her eyes as well, "Good night."

Thumper then added, "I mean come on. He must have told me like at least five new things each day."

Bambi the skunk's mate soon realised what it was all about and felt a little bad. Long Ears however didn't find that to his liking at all, "Oh so you forced me to choose between my mate and best friend for your own amusement?" this time he was the one looking angryily at her.

Lana smiled and looked at Geno. "Of course I do...with you."

Ronno soon fell alseep and heard nothing except Leah breathing, which didn't bother him.

Flower laughed and said, "But I am sure everything they said was important."

Long Ears' mate said, "No I forced you to see if you could actually be a rabbit and stand up for your best friend. You failed." Bambi the skunk looked at both of them. "And you were about to get rid of me."
