Leah added, "I wouldn't worry about that. He's probably doing his Great Prince stuff right now or something."

Thumper then smiled at Gurri, "Oh! Why Gurri, those are wonderful news! Why be so nervous?"

Geno felt the biggest relief of his life when the doe spoke up, even if she did tell her parents that it was all just an act. He knew he would get himself into bigger trouble for what he was about to say, but he felt like he had to back her up. "You see we're just friends, and she offered to show me around. She came here to let you know she's okay and everything... When I saw how happy you became upon seeing me I didn't want you to be dissapointed at her." What in the world did he think he was doing? Why was he blaming it on himself all of a sudden?

Ronno just nodded and said, "I've had a long life."

Gurri said to Thumper, "I am just nervous about telling everyone."

The group of deer just looked at eachother and said, "So you both lied to us?" However they calmed down and the mother said, "I think you might indeed care about eachother. You wouldn't have stuck up for eachother if you didn't." She then looked at Geno and said, "Tell me young prince where do you come from? Who are your parents?" The father then said to Geno, "You haven't been doing any funny business with my daughter have you?!" He looked adamant knowing that if Geno said yes he would not live.

Leah smiled at him, "You're talking as if they were over."

Thumper looked down, "I see..." he said, trying to think of something that he could use as advice, "Well first of all you don't have to tell everybody right away. It takes a few months till the fawns are born, so take your time and dont rush yourself about this. But why are you nervous about telling your own family?"

Geno remained silent, and again felt confused when the mother said that they both care about eachother, "We do?" he asked himself quietly. The mother seemed to know what she was talking about, but then again, the doe said that she only wanted him as a friend. He wanted to answer what she had asked him when the father spoke up again, "No." he said defensively, "We're just friends." he had no idea what the doe was feeling about this entire progression. And who the hell were all these other deer all around him?

Ronno said to Leah, "I'm getting old. I don't know how much longer I will live."

Gurri looked at Thumper and said, "Well let me tell you the truth. I am the one who is nervous about the whole thing. I have never been a mother before. How will I do when I have a family of my own?" She then looked at Thumper and said, "Uh do you hvae any stories from when my father and you were young?" She wondered about this.

As if the mother and father read his mind so they went ahead and spoke. "Those who you see around you are her family and that includes brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. You see young prince we all stick together." The mother said to Geno, "Young prince you havent told me where you come from or who your family is." The mother waited patiently for his answer while the father continued to look at Geno suspiciously still not trusting him in the slightest. The mother kept waiting. "Anyimte you may answer me young prince."

Leah then remembered the strange buck that appeared after the fire, "Well, you remember that strange buck, Bambi's father? You saw he was still alive. I'm sure you'll live long enough to meet your own grandchildren."

Thumper grinned, "Hey, I was never a mother either." he said with a joking tone, before focusing on what Gurri asked, "Stories... about what? You mean fawnhood stories?"

Geno then looked around him once more, there were like at least 20 does and bucks together, "Big family..." he said before looking at the mother, "I'm from a different part of the forest. I'm the son of Faline and The Great Prince, not sure if you heard of him before..." He didn't like to brag about it, but he wasn't going to lie to them. The father was still giving him the creeps.

Ronno then thought about him, "Was he alive? Didn't it seem strange he popped out of no where and then suddenly disappeared?" Ronno hoped Leah wouldn't think of him as crazy for believing in 'spirits.'

Gurri laughed a nervous laughter after Thumper joked. When he asked about the fawnhood stories Gurri nodded. "Yes I was just curious what happened in my father's life. I haven't really heard much about it."

The family looked shocked and said, "You are the Great Prince's son!?" They then all bowed and said, "Forgive us youngprince please!" The mother and father said, "You are free to leave young prince. Thank you...for gracing us with your visit." They then moved away. The doe looked at Geno and said, "Can we perhaps talk for a minute?"

Leah chuckled, "What, like a ghost?"

Thumper knew that there was alot to tell, "We played almost every day when we were little. I knew your father since the day he was born!" he said, "He was the clumsiest fawn you would have come across like your brother. Do you know how hard and frustrating it was teaching him how to walk? Me and my sisters spent hours on that!"

Geno hurried to say, "No, don't make a big deal out of this..." suddenly the doe called him and he followed her. Once they were out of her family's earshot he spoke up, "You could have given me a head warning or something. I almost got a heart-attack back there..."

Ronno nodded. "Why don't you think it is strange."

Gurri laughed at Thumper's story. "Wow. It is just since the day my brother and I met him he always seemed very formal and regal. I knew that he was a fawn like us I just never knew he was so like us." She then looked at Thumper, "Did you meet my mother and Ronno as well? What about Bambi the skunk's father? Do you have stories about that?"

The doe sighed and said, "I didn't know they were going to act that way. I apologize." She then looked at Geno and said, "Thank you though for helping me." She then licked him on his cheek.

Leah raised her head to look at him, "I think that you can live that long if you want to, that's all."

THumper also laughed, "Of course he was so like you. And yes, your mother, Ronno and Bambi the skunk's father were also there. Faline was less mixed but Flower was also a close friend of us." he then remembered how Flower got his name, "I have no idea what his name was. Bambi and I were walking around the forest, and he was just learning how to talk. He first thought that the flowers were birds and I corrected him, so when he saw Flower that's what he called him. Ever since then we called him that way."

Geno looked at her, "It's no problem..." when she suddenly licked his cheek he began to grow nervous, "Uh... yeah... you're welcome..."

Ronno nodded and said, "That doesn't explain his strange behavior."

Gurri nodded and said, "I have to hear more." She then said, "So uh you met Ronno huh? Was he...uh big and mean then?" She then kept talking. "What do you remember about Faline?" She then said, "Did you ever meet the Great Prince? And what about my father? How uh...did he act?" She kept on talking wondering about all of these questions.

The doe kept a straight face. "Don't get any ideas. I only did that because you helped me. It was just being friendly." She then went back to her family and talked quietly so Geno couldn't hear.
