Kovu is the ultimate example of a hero. His inner turmoil and dark past make his rise into the light an extremely powerful display of his potential in spite of his outward appearnance. This makes Kovu, to me, an even greater hero than Simba

He has chosen for Kiara instead of his mother. That's a really though choice.

It's only weird that Kovu looks a lot like Scar.
I mean, the eyes, colour of four and a little the shape. (the nose is obvius)
Since he doesn't seem to be his son.

The intention of his appearance is to create a form that looks like a stronger, younger Scar who in the end is not evil. He cannot be Scar's son because that would make him being Kiara's mate impossible.

Why would that be impossible TPAM lions don't have that sort of rules

look at the structure of the society and the manner in which they mention that Kovu is not Scar's son, would that be important if they didn't care?
