Looks like Kovu's having some problems...
Basically, Kovu has just messed up royally (this has to do with a story that I'm working on, kind of the theme of it) and now Scar is trying to tell him that it was all for the cause. Scar is also a figment of Kovu's imagination.

I recall this being in my messages on dA, hadn't got the time to comment just yet there so I'll go ahead here.

very interesting piece. so perhaps there was a darkness Kovu couldn't escape as well, then? you should definitely link the story when you're finished, or post it in the fanfics area of the forum ;)
