what are your thoughts on your mother?

She is amazing. I think she’s a beautiful, strong lioness and a very wise queen. She can always give me advice when I need it. She is also a strong fighter and a skilled hunter.. I hope I can become as good as her someday. I have a lot of respect for her, and I know she respects me in return. She always has faith in me and allows me to have enough personal freedom.

Yes, I do. I think I had a good chance of succsess right before the fire broke out.. The animals reacted to the smoke, they didn’t notice me. I might have had to try many times before bringing down a prey, but I think I could have succeeded if no one/nothing intervened.

Apart from hunting lessons, have you ever been trained to fight and defend yourself from anything that might attack you? Such as hyenas if you ever see one? Like Shenzi, Banzai and Ed. And apart from your parents telling you about your grandfather and uncle, did they tell everything in their past, including the hyenas?

Yes, all young lions recieve training in fighting and defending themselves. We must be able to protect ourselves and our pride from enemies, like Hyenas.
My parents have told me some stories about their cubhoods. My mother has not told me anything about her meeting Hyenas, but my father has told me about how my grandfather Mufasa would chase away Hyenas that came into the Pridelands. I’m sure my parents had many adventures as cubs, but I’m sure they won’t tell me about them. They’re probably scared I’ll want to try the same things!

I don’t believe you can miss someone you never met. Unfortunatly, my brother passed away some time before I was even born..


(Since there is no official information on what happened to Kopa, I believe he died. Some people think he ran away, but how could he do that? He was going to be the next king!)

Good question.. *thinks* I have sometimes wished I’d been more straightforward with my father after he rescued me from the Outlands.. If I could relive our conversation, I would try to make him understand that he was being too protective, and that I didn’t break the rules deliberatly. My curiousity got the better of me..
