Is Nuka Scar's son?

I do indeed think that Nuka is Scar's son, in many ways that KM has just stated so no advice from me.

I've never considered him Scar's son. it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever for Zira to cheat on Scar when she's so obsessed with him, and even less sense for Scar to pick the cub that resulted from his mate's affair over their own son.

which leads me to the conclusion that none of Zira's cubs are Scar's, and she likely wasn't his mate but rather a crazed fangirl XD

Nuka IS Scars son, recording to the line "Kovu is not his real son he just took him in" Nuka would have never said that if he was taken in as well. I think the reason Scar didn't pick Nuka but Kovu for a heir is basicly because of Nuka's lack of intelligence.
Nuka is also the one in SP that looks the most like a combination of Scar and Zira. He has the red eyes of Zira and the colours of Scar.

but when he says "I'm the oldest, I'm the strongest, I'm the smartest," wouldn't that be the perfect opportunity to mention that Scar was his father as yet another reason why he deserved to be the choosen one? he didn't mention that.

plus the only similarities to Scar he has are an angular nose with a hooked nose pad, extremely common in all Outlanders, a blackish mane which again isn't all that unusual, and a lanky build that again all Outlanders pretty much have and most likely results from their lack of food in the Outlands.

all Nuka was saying in that line was that Kovu wasn't Scar's son. it doesn't mean that he is instead. besides, Nuka doesn't really associate himself with Scar at all in the movie, he wants to be leader because he thinks he's more capable. he even remarked "Yugh" when Zira was talking about how Scar's coniving mind made him powerful.

yes because zira thought that kovu was pure of heart. nuka got left out and was unloved and ignored just like scar. so therefor nuka was the true chosen one after all. outsider500

I don’t think Zira and Scar were mates at all, so I don’t think Nuka is Scar’s son. I have to admit there are confusing lines in the movie though, things that suggest that Nuka is the son of Scar.. Such as what TG pointed out.

No where in the movie is it stated that Zira had cubs with Scar, though. Personally, I think she was just obsessed with power. She wanted to become Scars mate so she’d have a high rank in the pride.

Something interesting I've read about this:

In a Greek SP book, it says that ''Zira is the former mate of Scar, and she's planning revenge.''

It's really hard to tell if Zira is Scar's mate of not, so I suppose we can only make theories about that. (Unless someone emails Disney asking if Scar was really Zira's mate).

Now, it's also hard to tell if Nuka is Scar's son as well. I DO believe that he really isn't related to Scar, but I still make him Scar's son in Fan-Fictions anyway, because it explains his jealousy, and it makes him look more like his father, personality wise.

More or less the same for me. KM stated whatever I could've perfectly, and it would be logical from what Nuka and the other characters said throughout the movie.

I think Nuka is Scars son as he looks quite like him and like someone else said, it explains his jelousy. If they were both not Scars sons Nuka would just have to deal with it, but as he actually has a real claim to the throne he has a strong reason to be jelous. Which leaves the question as to why he wasn't chosen. I think he wasn't chosen to be king because he was in an accident at a young age which damaged his brain slightly, so Scar decided it ould be better that he didn't rule.

When Kovu saves Kiara Nala says "Simba he saved YOUR daughter's life." So the thing about Nuka's death can be ruled out.
