Conal returned the hug, "If my math is correct, about a week. Plenty of time to say my goodbyes." He could see the pain and hurt in Kayla's eyes.

[Stormy]

Kayla gently placed her face on Conal’s shoulder with a quiet sob.

[TheLastLion]

"Hey, chin up, K. It's gonna be alright." Conal attempted to console her.

[Stormy]

“Damn it, Conal.” She looked at him. “How are you going to leave me before taking me to the mountains like you promised me years ago?” She tried to joke wiping her face with her paw.

[TheLastLion]

"Now is as good of a time as any. In fact, how about we take Flash and Sadie with us?" Conal suggested.

[Stormy]

“You think you can make that hike?”

[TheLastLion]

He chuckled, "Of course... besides, I know a shortcut."

[Stormy]

“To be fair, you were just telling me goodbye just for a hunt, so I wasn’t sure. And I take it Flash & Sadie don’t know yet..?”

[TheLastLion]

"Not yet at least, but I figure they know before we leave." Conal added.

[Stormy]

“Do you want me to be there when you tell them?”
