[Stormy]

"It's not being hard on yourself if what you've done led to something like this, and it's really your fault."

[TheLastLion]

"Shh, don't let yourself get caught up in all of that negative self-talk," Sadie cooed. "The most important thing right now is to let it out and calm down."

[Stormy]

"I..I'm not sure you know THIS feeling. The feeling that you know you were the reason that someone wanted to....die?" More tears slowly ran down her face. "Especially your own BROTHER?"

[TheLastLion]

"if it's any consolation, I take the brunt of the responsibility by enabling him and not keeping a closer eye on him as of late," Sadie conceded.

[Stormy]

"It doesn't matter who takes responsibility on 'not watching him'. What matters is what CAUSES it and that it happened anyway." Destiny says, beginning to fall apart again.

[TheLastLion]

Sadie held her tightly and said nothing for a moment.

[Stormy]

"I'm so sorry for causing this trouble.." Destiny says muffled. "I shouldn't have come." Destiny's warm tears could be felt on Sadie's shoulder.

[TheLastLion]

"No, no, don't say that," Sadie cooed, "I think there's a way we can turn this into a net positive."

[Stormy]

Destiny lifted her head from Sadie. "What? Him living? That's the only thing I'm thinking that's turning around. If he died from this it would have been completely different right now."

[TheLastLion]

"Well, him surviving this, yes. But there's something else..." She continued, "Before I tie the knot with Flash, I told him that I wanted you two to reconcile with each other."
