New episode 'Lions of the outlands'?
Inheriting a throne depends on the seniority not talents. If Kion wants to be a King he will be able to leave and start his own pride. And you can't say thst Kion is better as a ruler because we don't see what Kiara do every day. You can't compare them.
Well, yes. Obviously. However, I think it was meant as a question of whether Kion would have to face such a conflict or not.

Kion would never go out of his way to start his own pride. He is proud of who he is and cares about his family a lot.

Yeah it was meant to be a conclusion Kion could come to. I actually mentioned something like this when the show was announced the idea behind the guard is kind of flawed after saving your home so many times and often cleaning up messes others make including the future ruler it is not at all far fetched that the leader of the guard might think they can better protect the kingdom if they're in charge. We have actually seen that Kiara is already a good ruler she immediately concluded how bad the bee hives being in the path of a herd could be thought of an effective solution and carried it out. She has been shown to have great tracking skills and very good at planning a hunt. We saw her go to that one ceremony. Kiara for her at times snobbish attitude is a good ruler she knows exactly what she's doing and is very good at the technical and political stuff Kion wouldn't have the patients for also Kiara can discover her mistakes and fix them on her own usually, Kion often needs Mufasa to tell him his mistakes which shows that Kion is not quite as responsible as Kiara is most of the time.

I actually think Kion is similar to Scar as a cub I could see Scar being similar to Kion in some ways. They already have a few similarities Kion while understanding the importance of defending a kingdom does not understand the importance of Kiara's position. Can't wait to be queen showed how little Kion understood the importance of rather small things like the bee hives. Kion likely doesn't get the importance of the I believe buffalo ceremony either. To Kion everything is a battle I doubt Kion could handle politics. Scar didn't understand the importance either believing it was just about power and authority. In CWTBQ Kion dismissed things like the morning report he decided to move the bee hives directly the more forceful way. Kion immediately assumed that Kiara would order him around because he doesn't realize that Kiara does take her position seriously he thinks this because Kion doesn't take Kiara's duties seriously.

He's a noble and selfless lion but the seeds are there all it would take is for Zira to push the right buttons and plant the right thoughts and Kion could go to a darker place. In fact Kion's love for his home and family are the key to corrupting him all it takes is making Kion believe he knows what's best for his kingdom convincing him the only way to ensure the survival of his family and home that he loves so much is to take the throne, that's all it would take.

I saw a clear screen shot of Kovu in the wiki! I think he will be the "good" outlander in this episode. And how awesome it is, to have the original voices of Vitani and Nuka back.. Kovu is voiced by Jason Marsden, am i right? (in tlg, that means)

That is great news, I am curious how an adult person can voice a cub, but the sound of Vitani's voice, more than 20 years later, voiced by the same actress, sounds legimitate for me, so I think this will be all fine. I am really hyped to see so many of my favorite characters back in this episode, I must say I am sure this will be my favorite, this will not be a dissapointment (the lenght of this thread about this episode is the longest of all episode threads, thas says enough)
My favorite before this one episode, was the Sisi ni Sawa episode and Kupantata.

Yeah, Kion cares about what's going on and he has a lot of priorities. It would be cool to see what he would look like when he's an older lion. I wish that The Lion Guard fan page would release the clip about Zira's/the outsiders relationship with Scar so we can find out if any of the cubs are even his or not.
