Happy. We've been getting so much rain these past few days! I love these grey cloudy days so much!

A bit jealous of my friends in WA since (as usual) it's way better up there, but still. This is so nice. If I didn't have so much work to be doing I would totally just curl up right now on my couch and play Skyrim. /3

All three of my current emotions stem from something me and carl talked about recently.

Not to mention this stupid election, clowns terrorizing everyone, the situation with bee's (they're dying off at an alarming rate, and that's a bad thing) the situation with australias coral reef... and a billion other things.

It just makes me feel so helpless and hopeless.

^ The whole Coral Reef thing turned out to be untrue btw. It's not dead. Yes it's under threat but not dead. And if we can all pitch in and plant a few bee friendly plants I'm sure that will help them .

The situation with the bees dying, it's most likely pesticide. That's why i've been buying more organic foods recently.

Can humanity survive without bees pollinating our crops?

Yeah, there are a lot of global problems going on and it certainly can make you feel pretty helpless. I guess it's just trying not to get too discouraged. People are resilient and resourceful and there are plenty out there who care enough to help work on solutions.

Hopefully it won't be too late by then.

Things wouldn't feel so bad if I knew how she was doing... her DA handle is Panther85, a very dear friend of mine. Her mother died of cancer recently. I'm hoping she isn't going into a depression. While I have her on facebook she doesn't use it often.

It'd be easier to contact her if we didn't live in two very different hemispheres.

I know it's hard, but try not to worry too much. She needs time to grieve and come to terms with it. She may be going into a depression, that's normal in the situation, but people can and do come back from those, so even if that's so, she will most likely be okay in time.
