It was really nice catching up with that guy today over dinner. All my co-workers knew him and he kinda hung out with us. I've barely talked to him since I stopped doing judo last year but it turns out we had a lot to reminisce on, not to mention he's really nice.

I can't wait for the rerelease of The Black Parade, although at the same time I can't believe it's been a decade since that album came out. I still remember buying that album when it was new at a Hastings. And to think--those stores are closing forever, too! A lot has happened in these past ten years...

5:30 in the morning and it's already 79 degrees.

Oy... It's one of those days.

It's been warmer than that here all night, in some nights (83 F / 28 C was the minimum one night and heat index stayed in the mid-upr 90s because of about 80 F dewpoint) since the beginning of July. And have seen very little rain now since the middle part of June.

Weather wise for me, living on the western side of the Gulf usually sucks during the summer time until about September. I hope things turn around next week with a little less heat and more tropical rain / storms around like they're forecasting with that disorganized system that's been out there over the eastern gulf and dumping tons of rain in Florida since the past week.

My mum's chicken isn't looking too great this morning when I let them out I think she might be on her way. That'll really affect my sister if she does die though.

Finally, the number of active fires has lowered. Some damaged was caused, but I'm so glad to see that people are getting together and helping each other/others/etc.

I really hope I can go to the lake. Its another one of those ridiculously hot days. And I feel as though I don't want to wake up at 8 to go to the Lansing mall, but I still wanna go, so I'll do it.
