I can understand working and pokemon. Here, the heat and humidity is so intense that it's stupid to stay outside mid-day during the summer for too long. Not even joking, heat strokes are a serious issue here.
The tradeoff for the 'might honestly kill you' heat is that we have 80 degree novembers and it is 70 in december! Snow? What's that?

Right? Did you see that picture someone posted in the Disney group we are both in of the magic kingdom where the park was pretty much empty even though it's a clear blue sunny day? It was amazing to me that it actually gets that hot out there to the point where it actually starts getting genuinely dangerous to be out in it for too long.
Because it's hot here in the UK at the moment in Brighton with record breaking July temps but even then it's still pleasent enough to go out and enjoy. As long as you wear sun cream and stuff then it's still enjoyable.
But it's just so sticky and disgusting around and everyone stinks lol. I prefer Winter. I used to really like Summer but in recent years Summers have been very short here but while they do last they are very hot. And I don't really like that, it's much easier to warm yourself up in winter but in the summer there's just no getting away from the heat!
