We have a couple of locations already chosen for this and have contacted the relevant authorities where we are certain we have a location locked in and so far there doesn't seem to be any real issues in the way of achieving something like this.

Sounds pretty neat, Flip! I don't really watch TV much so I can't really compare it to anything but I think it sounds interesting. I guess a bit like geocaching too... and I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people out there who still like to do that.

While there's usually some truth in self help books I swear I get so easily put off by how absolutely unrealistic they are, "oh yeah I can do this in 20 hours... because I've already stuggled for ages trying to figure out how to do this properly in the first place but yes lolol".

Holy crap, unwarranted optimism pisses me off to no end.

^ I agree. Those self-help books are beyond unrealistic to me. They all act like there's some magical fit-all solution to everything, when it usually isn't that that simple. I won't say they're all pointless, but I feel they don't work most of the time. Plus those self-help folks are often just as messed up as everyone else. They just try to pretend they aren't. Yikes, that's pretty bad. But yeah sometimes they do contain helpful hints but the ridiculous claims that "ALL OTHER BOOKS DON'T HELP BUT THIS ONE IS THE ONE THAT WILL HELP... WITHIN 2 HOURS!!" are really just a marketing gimmick because people would like to think that there's a way to do stuff quickly without effort so that sort of crap sells like pancakes.

I wish there was a magical fix-all for everything, but there isn't. And I hate that self-help books try to capitalize on that. I almost feel like they're scamming people out of their money.

Welp. Wada Kouji, the main singer used for the original Japanese Digimon anime (and a few dubs, including the Greek one I grew up with), died this year.

I feel old.

EDIT: In fact Sora's Japanese voice actress has died to cancer as well this year, what the hell? I didn't even know either of them were battling cancer considering they still worked on Digimon Adventure Tri. Man, some of the cast just have some much love for the series and it shows. ;A;

Welp, Digimon just won't be quite the same now. Neither Kouji Wada nor Yuko Mizutani survived to even see the end of Tri, this is such dreadful news and even more dreadful timing. I don't think my heart could handle hearing a finale song sung by a completely new singer for what's supposed to be a Digimon Adventure celebration anniversary, either.
