Apparently they will have all the features from the Civ V expansions at launch, but 'won't be as fleshed out as they could be'. Considering they already felt pretty basic I'm not sure what to think of that.

Moral of the story is don't preorder games so companies can't get away with making the base game bland so they can sell the actual gameplay as DLC. Then they get praised for 'improving' the game when in reality those features should have been there in the first place. What a scam.

Dude, I hate that s--- so much, I'm so tired of this "oh moms are lovely and they can never do any wrong" CRAP (because that's what it is, it's crap). Like seriously everyone else I've ever met ever lives with a single mom and that's fine and all but dads are so neglected. It's like nobody ever acknowledges that they can be single parents too, and if that's not alienating as hell to someone like me then IDK really what is.

Plus all these single moms feel entitled to try to claim that Father's Day should be about them too and it's like. Uh, no. Screw off.

Like I honestly don't like and have no reason to celebrate Mother's Day but I don't go around claiming that the holiday should be removed because UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE I realize that other people actually have moms that they grew up with and feel indebted towards and want to appreciate for a day. I don't feel the need to break into every discussion and be like "WELL I didn't have a mom there so LOL screw you I'ma make this about dads now, moms suck lmao". I don't know why these people somehow lack this ability.

Like, suck it up and get in line, kid, you're not the only one who lacked a parent growing up. I don't care if you hate your dad, that's no excuse to try to take Father's Day away for people like me who didn't have anyone else.

I love how it's literally been announced a few hours ago, absolutely no info on it, no gameplay videos, nothing. And yet it's already up for pre-ordering, just to get people to order it out of hype. Always been weary of Firaxis and their cheap tactics and DLC, seriously guys.

Yeah, I've heard so many stories of dads not getting custody despite being better parents and it makes me scratch my head. Like, what is the reasoning behind this? You think that the kid's well-being will be better off with an abusive or unfit mom as opposed to a relatively normal or well-adjusted dad? Isn't that kind of insulting to, I dunno, like all men, ever?

And yeah, I agree. It's very narrow of people to assume that all moms are great just because theirs were. I certainly know and have heard of some horrible fathers as well (hell you hear about them all the time, more than terrible moms if I'm honest) so I'm not going to go out and claim that everyone should love their dads and that they're all amazing because that's not actually how things work. lol
