Why not cut your own hair, as far as that goes? That's the way my family has always got haircuts, we do them ourselves. Usually my mom would cut everyone's, including her own, but I've been taking care of mine these days and my sister sometimes cuts hers too. If it comes out uneven, another person can touch it up for ya.
