I don't really see this as a reason for Sarabi to disappear completely. After all they got new voice actors for Simba, Zazu and some other characters too.

Yeah but the original actors for simba, zazu, etc are still alive or never died from such unfortunate circumstances.

Or maybe she was under contract that no one else could voice her in animation like the og snow white.

the lion guard comes out january the 15th and my birthday is january the 5th since i love the lion king movies and show so much its sortof like a late birthday present for me just 10 days late
