Doesn't make the average human life any less boring. Yes, there's an entire fascinating world out there, but most of us will never experience any of it.

Agreed, maybe I've been far too involved in Fantasy fiction but most of my IRL experiences pale in comparison and makes everyday life just seem positively boring. I long for epic adventures, not this.

Maybe my experience isn't normal, but regular life isn't boring, either. That doesn’t mean it's always fun, but it really isn't boring. People die, people are born, people fight, people love, people are always doing something, and that's not even getting to what other animals do.

Just this morning I was almost run over by a car. I don't find that boring.

Eh, as have I years ago. Accidents and near-accidents are really nothing new as unfortunate as they are. Maybe there's just something wrong with me, but I find most human events and occurences others would find exciting mindnumbingly ordinary.

Sure, stuff happens to people. But it's almost never anything out of the ordinary or that particularly interesting. Almost getting hit by a truck (or witnessing a car crash, years before this incident) was a curious occurence to think about for a while, then life just went on as it's always been. Just 'huh' moments that didn't really affect life in the long run.

You know what's sad? When you witness a number of people correcting someone on their inaccurate facts, completely non-offensively, only to see all those comments deleted and only the ones supporting the inaccuracies still on the comment section. Yours included. No discussion whatsoever, just pure censorship.
