Today they will release the 2nd bigger tlg trailer. What do you hope to see revealed? I hope to see janja the hyena and to see zuri in action. Also to see more of the cast besides the lion guard members themselves. Gotta be good!

I'd like some hint that Lion King 2 isn't being retconed away. but I doubt that a trailer will reveal that.

Well, Kiara is a cub confirmed. This means that TLG will be forced to retcon TLK 2. I guess nothing new for continuity in the TLK universe.

Rob lowe doesn't sound much like broderick but in all honesty I like his voice as simba.

Mr payton sounds like rafiki and who they got to voice timon sounds like timon.

The hyenas.... Are okay. Not bad at all but still a few steps from good. I also think I saw Ed's cub in it

Kion is good. Esp for a kid actor.

Fuli is... Well, i'll need to hear more lines from her to judge.

And apparently Simba doesn't like the idea of non lions being in 'the lion guard'.

Also those hyenas are just as vicious as the ones from tlk1 if not moreso. I mean killing off herds just to make a statement?

Well the last trailer confirmed that she's a cub. However, that doesn't definitely mean they are retconning TLK 2. They probably are to be sure, but they could still try to work in an explanation somehow and try to make people accept that Kion was just absent during the scenes of the movie. Hey, maybe that's why Nala was so rarely around. While Simba raised their daughter and loomed over her, maybe Nala was looking after Kion.

Anyway the trailer looked good, I'm definitely going to watch it whether it retcons SP or not. It will certainly give fic writers more topics to use, and there will be more TLK video to use for AMVs too. Yep, I'm interested.

[Timon the great]

Well at least I got to finally see a little glimpse of how Timon could go on this new series. When I saw that image that was posted last week of him and Pumbaa, I was not really surprised that his design in this show looks almost Nothing like how he does from LK 1 1/2. I mean, gosh, even Pumbaa's looks more like that of the films. So I don't know what happened there with the LG creators..

This new trailer pretty much confirms that Timon's design on LG is not going to change when the premiere is released next month. And as a Timon person, it is disappointing. Especially considering how other veteran characters like Simba, Rafiki and also Pumbaa, look in comparison to their film appearances. But generally not unexpected for me with Timon.

I really hope his behavior will make up for the poor quality physical appearance. His voice on this new trailer surprisingly sounds a lot like his default of Lane's, now (even though it's supposed to be Kevin Schon's). So that still gives me a little hope and with his quote on the trailer, that my fav's personality will have at least have some kind of connection to him of the film universe.
