Anyway, Kay and Buffy, we are both happily okay. Just had a really bad scare. This guy (probably drunk) was driving in the wrong lane on a major highway. Considering there's a large swath of grass between both directions, it was pretty weird - my dad says he's never seen that happen before, and he's been in a lot of very weird situations in his life. I didn't even see or hear him, he was going so fast - he was easily going 90 mph (about 145 kph) and we were going 70-75 in the other direction. We had no time to swerve and I'm pretty sure the only reason we are alive is because he was in the other lane. He just missed our car and if he had hit us head on it almost certainly would've killed both of us.

As I said, I'm almost certain he was drunk. You don't just drive onto the wrong ramp and continue on in the wrong direction if you're sober. When we called 911 it was apparent they'd got several calls on him already, so he must've been doing it a while and with no concern/notice of anyone else.
