I had no good reason. But then I thought of the note she left. "You can take me as your prisoner and do whatever you want with me. Just let her go," I pleaded.

Morgana looked at him and said, "A good offer, but I have to refuse."

I looked down at the seaweed, a little defeated. I remembered how Melody and I had hid in that kelp forest because we didn't want anyone finding out about us. Unfortunately, Morgan had, and I had almost lost everything because of Morgana. I wasn't going to let that happen this time. I pulled out of the seaweed and pulled Melody out of Morgana's grasp and pulled her over to the exit. "Melody, you have to go," I said.

"Yes, you have to!" I said. "Your grandfather and everyone else is searching for you. Please, go!"

Yes, you are," I said, my voice cracking. I bent down and kissed her. "Go on. I'll be okay."

"Derek...." I said, then I hugged him and kissed him. "I'll come back, I promise, with Grandfather and the others." Then I swam out of the hideout, heading towards Atlantica.

I hugged and kissed her back before watching her leave.

"How sweet," Morgana said. "Too bad you won't be seeing her ever again."

"Yeah, well, I'll still try," I said, turning to face her.
