Adieu is a French word if I may add, which in a more correct way means farewell.

That line refers to the fact Mufasa had came down "from on-high" -> high is referred to royalty here, (i.e. High King) as well could refer from a high place, such as Pride Rock.

"to mingle with the commoners" -> Mingle being a word for mix, blend, unite, etc. as well as in socialize. Scar refers himself as the commoner (peasant).

So, put it together, and it'd sound like; "Why, if it isn't my big brother coming down from his throne to speak with the peasants." <- Something similar of it.

ok I thought it meant that, but i wasn't sure, now next quote, what did Scar mean when he said I got that Lion share? did that mean he was able to share with the pride?

He meant that it was too early in the morning, so instead of him tending to Simba, he told Sarabi to do so (until Simba insisted Mufasa get up because he had promised).

I am guessing that it was a system that Mufasa and Sarabi set up where if Simba is having issues before sunrise, then Sarabi has to take care of it (allowing Mufasa to continue sleeping), while after sunrise, Mufasa has to deal with their son.
