TLK Fan of the Month - February 2015

It is time to start nominating members again! I am hoping that this month will get a lot more nominations in, because I really felt like there was a lot more going on recently than before. I hope that I am not the only one who noticed it, and that the activity will be reflected here. So without further ado, let's nominate!

* Each month, members will nominate up to four members who they consider active enough fans to be considered "fans of the month".

* New members can be nominated one month after their joining the forum. If it's TLK fan of the month, it won't necessarily be fair to allow one-week old members to win compared to the older members who might not necessarily have a storage box of new ideas ready to be opened upon joining MLK.

* When nominating a member, provide a reason why they are being nominated. Unfortunately, a "I nominate 'X' because they are a great TLK fan!" will not be accepted. Try to provide a link or even a reference as to why they are a fan. Also, keep references for those that are on MLK. It won't be very nice to have members be nominated for something they did off MLK. Keep it on the forum please.

*The contest renews itself after each new year. If a member won in a year, they cannot be nominated again until the next year

As this is a new year, as mentioned above, everyone are up for grabs. This includes all the winners of 2014. You can nominate up to 5 members.

Nominations will go on until Monday, February 23rd. As he was the winner for January, SimbasGuard cannot be nominated again.

In order to prevent this from becoming another popularity contest like the Fan of the Month (back when it was still being run), I only accept nominations that are TLK related. After all, this is "TLK Fan of the Month", so while I can accept TLP's nomination, the others will need more on topic reasons than just members being nice to you.

gothprinceskiara - She is displaying a tremendous amount of passion for the upcoming The Lion Guard, and dedicated a thread to updating forum members on the yet-to-be released merchandise and new characters.

JulieSkywalker - She created a new thread reflecting on the Great Kings of the Past, and she came up with ideas and suggestions about them that I never thought of. Plus, she's doing very well as the new moderator.

Elton John - Created interesting threads over the past few months, which I have posted comments, and has been relatively active.

FlipMode: For actually submitting a story to the writing contest. And no, you will still have to wait for that. If you're asking why, I invite you to do my homework for me.

Elton John: Really nice and thoughtful posts in the TLK sections.

Julie Skywalker: While a mod, she still posts in the TLK sections and does stuff for the writing contests. All too often, a member becomes a mod and their on-topic activity drops dead, so to see that not happening, at least for now, is always a plus.
