The Legend of the Death Sisters [ private ]

Rangi sniffed the air. "I smell it too." She breathed, still trying to catch her breath. The male cursed inwardly and climbed up a tree to stay away from them. Hearing claws scratching against bark, Rangi growled and started to sniff the trees, trying to find a fresh lion scent.

[Zoketi]

Her ears pinned, and a sour smirk flickered over her maw. "Shall we enjoy ourselves?" she snickered to her sister. She fell silent as she heard the sound of someone moving in a tree, and glanced around warily. Flicking her tail, she hopped onto a bent tree to see better.

[Kipekee]

Rangi started to climb a tree threateningly, but climbed it half way because she was too fricken heavy. However, soon realizing she was up the wrong tree she jumped off. The male lion carefully snuck to another branch, still keeping an eye on those butchered lionesses.

[Zoketi]

Kuruka leapt to a sturdy tree, trying to see through the dense foliage. A flicker of light tawny appeared briefly and she narrowed her eyes, springing to another limb. "Over here," she muttered to her sister, beckoning with her tail.

Rangi snarled. "Frick frack fashizzle. I'm too bulky to climb." Maybe that's why you should fight lionesses to get leaner you dopey. "It smells like a male, too. That's just great."
Luckily for Rangi, the male had bounded down the tree to run through the trees, but not before he and Rangi locked gazes. They stared for a split second and he took off, Rangi not too far behind even though she wasted most of her energy.

[Zoketi]

She huffed softly, scoring her claws over the wood. As movement ahead drew her attention she tensed, spotting the light fur she'd seen earlier. Kuruka snorted and then hopped down, tailing her sister.

[Kipekee]

The male knew they were both right behind them, and since he kind of sort of killed all his siblings greedily while they were still cubs he figured he could take them on. Unsheathing his claws he whipped around and snarled, only to be tackled by Rangi. They started to fight, but to Rangi's surprise every time she tried to open his neck or slice his chest open he would block her, and pretty soon they matched each other blow for blow. Eventually it was too much for Rangi's quarter of the way full energy tank and she was forced to back down.

Kuruka slammed to a halt as the male spun around, on the attack. She figured her sister could handle it, but as she watched she was completely surprised by the male's fighting ability. Hissing, she stepped around through the undergrowth out of sight, then launched herself at the male when Rangi looked like she needed assistance badly.

[Kipekee]

Rangi panted heavily, smirking as Kuruka took her place. The male snarled, letting himself get pinned, then aimed to quickly throw her off because she could've bit his throat by all means. If that succeeded, he'd then aim to swipe his claws across her flank.

[Zoketi]

The purple-eyed beast did indeed aim for a killing bite, despite the thick mane. As she was tossed away she spun in midair and landed neatly, jumping away from the claws and lunging towards the male's underside to bite and dig her claws in.
