"We can't!" said Siari. "Because we can't stop feeling awkward about it! And Nuru didn't help a lot either!"
"What happened?" asked her father.
"He kissed me! Just like that!"

"No, you don't know that." said Mufasa reassuringly.

Marini gave Tua a seductive look and hopped onto their hammock.

Vitani: He kissed you?! Well...did you hate it? I mean...its all a part of growing up!

Nuru: You saw that look on her face........I won't go near her ever again!

Tua: I hope the cubs won't mind our....activites!

Siari felt her cheeks heat up at the question. "W-what does it matter??" she asked. "I'm not even out of cubhood yet!"

Mufasa sighed. "She was just shocked. You're overreacting..."

Marini giggled. "They don't have a saying in this!" she said.

Vitani: Well.....does this mean you won't talk to him again?

Nuru: ........you're right.....sorry. But i will give her some space.

Tua: Thats a relief! Come here!
He pulled her in for a huge kiss

Siari shook her head slowly. She wasn't going to admit that she did like it. "Of course not... I just want to be friends and not let this whole thing get in the way..."

Mufasa smiled and gave Nuru a comforting hug.

Marini happily returned the kiss, embracing her mate tightly as she did.

Vitani: Do you....want to call the betrothel off?

Nuru: Thanks, Mufasa!

"I'm sure you and Nuru can talk this over." said Kopa. "Try to get things back to normal for now. If, once you're older, you'll want to call it all off, all you'll have to do is say so." He smiled and nuzzled his daughter. "Okay?"
"Yes daddy..." She then turned around and left, still looking rather thoughtful.
"She likes him." said Kopa with a chuckle once she was gone.

Mufasa giggled and licked his brother's cheek.
