The new danger in the land

Tua: There are times that...i feel...Marini just...doesn't love me. Only for like a second but.....can i tell you something? Ever since we got married Marini hated to even mention cubs. Even when she was pregnant she wanted to distance herself from the cubs growing inside her. I know pregnancy is a big thing.....but not like this. There are times i think and wonder...if i was ever supposed to be loved.

"What?" Simba raised an eyebrow. "She was just cranky because of all the hormones. Trust me, Nala was worse. Twice."

Rolling his eyes playfully, Kopa carried on. "I'm your father."
"And I'm your big sister!" exclaimed Siari.

Tua: No. Before that. Even right now. If cubs gets brought up she'll get upset. She just...has no intrest in my cubs.
Nuru was walking by a little ways away. He heard everything. He started to cry. Thinking his mother didn't want him. he sprinted past his father and eventually his mother.
Tua: Nuru?!?

Vitani: Thats better!

Simba looked at Tua with a frown. "What did you just do?! Did you think that maybe she just doesn't want another litter??" For someone so sensitive Tua could be incredibly thick sometimes.
Noticing her son run past her with tears in his eyes, Marini quickly followed the cub. Nuru was much smaller and she caught up to him very quickly. "Nuru?" she asked. "What's the matter?"

Kopa chuckled and licked Vitani's stomach.

Tua caught up with the two
Tua: Son whats wrong!?

Nuru: M-mommy never wanted me! You said she got upset when you wanted cubs! And when mommy was pregnant she wanted me and Mufasa gone!
The little guy was crying his eyes out.
Tua: Oh no.....you heard that!? Son, Mommy loves you!!
Nuru: No she doesn't she never wanted to have cubs!!!

Marini looked at Tua with a glare. She'd give him a piece of her mind later. "Nuru, honey..." The lioness gently placed a paw on the cub, nuzzling him tenderly. "I love you more than anything else i ln the world. And I did want to have you. If I didn't I wouldn't have..."

Nuru: .....you promise?!?
Tua just hung his head. he crushed his sons heart. Hes never felt so low

Marini nodded. "Of course... I love you and your brother so much." She gently licked Nuru's little head.

Nuru: ...okay.
He turned around and started walking back to the den. Tua turned to face his mate.
Tua: Okay.....let me have it. I deserve it.

Marini took in a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down. "Okay... I'll just go ahead and ask. What were you thinkng?"
