Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Iri]

Kapuki looked at Enzi for a minute, before nodding. "I try to be the best sister I can. I feel like I'm failing her." She looked down, then cursed herself as she realized what she had just admitted to Enzi. He wasn't supposed to know anything about her- was he?

[Adofo]

Enzi: Hey! No you're not! YOu are a great sister! I can tell! If you were failing her, at her age, she'd be long dead! YOu are doing a wonderful job with her! Don't you ever doubt that! .....To be honest....I wish I had someone like you to look up too, growing up. But you keep protecting and loving her!

[Iri]

"I'm doing what I can." Kapuki grunted a little, before padding off after Chaltuu again. She didn't know why, but she did feel like she was failing Shujaa as a sister. She couldn't provide food and nourishment for Shujaa, she couldn't even protect her from their crazed, violent father- what kind of sister was she, anyways?

[Adofo]

Enzi: Well, what you are doing is a great thing! Others would have given up. Or just not have done it in the first place. SHe loves you with all herheart. That's what matters at the end of the day.

[Iri]

Kapuki shrugged, before narrowing her eyes again. She didn't want to look all soft and gentle- not in front of anyone but Shujaa.
Chaltuu kept leading the way, before she caught a blur of pale fur running towards her, then knocking her over. She leaped to her paws, snarling at whomever had shoved her over. Her claws unsheathed and she faced a lioness who was trying to put on a brave face, but looked a bit terrified nonetheless.
"Don't hurt me!" the lioness whimpered.

[Adofo]

Enzi: Whoa whoa! It's okay! What's wrong?!

[Iri]

"Quit trying to save the day all the time, Enzi!" Kapuki snapped. She snarled at the stranger.
The lioness whimpered and cowered, but swiped at Chaltuu nonetheless. "I'm just looking for a pride, is all! Are you a pride? If you are, can I join?" Her terror and aggression faded into childlike curiosity. "Please?"

[Adofo]

Enzi: ......Chaltuu......can she? She looks scared. Please? If she apologizes?

[Iri]

The lioness shuddered. "I'm sorry. I was just running, and I was scared. I'm sorry."
Chaltuu rolled her eyes. "Pitiful. But fine. Whatever. I don't hold grudges over something like that."
Kapuki stepped forward. "Do anything to hurt my baby sister, and the minute we reach the top of the mountain, I will shove you off the nearest cliff. Understood?"
The lioness nodded. "Of- of course." She smiled gratefully at Enzi. "Thank you!"

[Adofo]

Enzi: Sure! ...You can walk next to me.
