The new danger in the land

Tua got in the hammock and under the blanket. But he tried not to touch Marini again. Just to be safe.
Tua: Thank you! And.....I really am sorry. I just......was holding that in for so long.

Marini offered the older male a small smile. "Um... It's fine..." She had to admit, though, with all due respect to the blanket, that she was still a little cold. After a long hesitation, the young lioness slowly shuffled closer to Tua so that their sides were touching. Blushing furiously, she rested her head against his warm mane.

Tua slowly put his front paws around her.
Tua: Is....this okay? Are you still cold?

Still blushing, Marini found a small smile creeping its way onto her muzzle as Tua placed his front paws around her. "Not as much..." she replied quietly. She never imagined she'd be this close to a male before, but it felt really nice. "Thank you..." The young lioness began to purr softly, both as a sign of comfort and as a sign that she was liking his attention.

Tua: You're welcome!
The next morning, the sun was peaking through the trees. Tua was still sound asleep but unaware to the two, the ends of their muzzles were touching.

Tua's mane was proving to be a very comfortable pillow because, before Marini knew it, she fell asleep in his embrace. The next morning, when she opened her eyes. she was surprised to see that their muzzles were touching. Blushing, she slightly pulled her head away for a brief moment before smiling and returning it to its originsl position. The lion was really cute when he slept.

After a while Tua awoke to his muzzle touching hers.
Tua: Uhhh......

Marini couldn't help but giggle at Tua's nervousness. He was even cuter that way. "Good morning." she said, rubbing her muzzle against his while purring softly. She liked that sensation.

Tua: Good morning! Uhh....our muzzles are touching.......and you're.....not pulling away.

Marini giggled once more as she continued to nuzzle the male's muzzle. "How observant of you." she teased, giving him a quick lick across his muzzle. She owed him one from yesterday, and now that she had overcome her initial hesitation about physical contact she was more than willing to give it to him.
